Jeans. CHECK. White top. CHECK. You can never go wrong with the basics. The statement sleeve top and high-low hem jeans are a dressed up version of my usual uniform, and this is what I wore to interview Sachin at Neiman Marcus Downtown last month.

I’m usually in a white tee. I have about a million. Okay, I really have five that are in HEAVY rotation. It “camouflages” any formula stains MUCH better than black, and I’m always in jeans! I should probably share my jean collection on Snapchat and Instagram Stories. Although, you may get the impression that I’m a hoarder! Probably correct! Ha! (Insert monkey covering eyes emoji here!) Anyhow, I digress…
You saw the black version of this top in a previous Chic at Every Age post. Well, I loved the statement sleeve top SO MUCH that I own it in two colors. It’s perfect for a casual chic outfit with jeans, and I can wear it with a pencil skirt for church or any dressy occasion.
THE STYLE Rx: Statement sleeves are trending, and it’s a fun way to make a basic white top NOT SO BASIC! If ruched sleeves aren’t your thing, try a bell sleeve top, ruffle sleeve top, a balloon sleeve top, or my ALWAYS FAVORITE open shoulder top!
It WAS Summer when I wore this outfit so white flower earrings, “marble” sunglasses, and white sandals were my first pick! I’ve also been wearing those uneven hem jeans nabbed at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale non-stop!
This top would be fantastic with black cropped velvet pants or a leather skirt and heels for the colder months.

Hope everyone is doing well! Baby girl has been ill, and it makes me so sad. She is such a smiley baby but has been looking pretty puny lately. :( At least Little M has been doing well. Have a great rest of the week! It’s almost FRIYAY!
