It’s true. I’m passionate about pink. It’s my favorite color. Remember what John Fussell, Chanel make-up artist, said about pink?! If I could wear pink every day, I probably would. I thought the singer, Pink, was so cool because of her name. When I was a little girl, my whole bedroom was pink including the bed covers. I LOVE pink!

So when pink became a thing this past season, I was all over it! #ThankYouJCrew&Gucci! The recent Gucci campaign had me on the hunt for a pink fur jacket and bag. When I spotted this Charlotte Simone pink fur jacket on major sale at Matches Fashion, it was in my cart in a second! I mean, look at the interior lining! It’s illustrated in candies and sweets!

Of course, it hasn’t been cold enough to wear any major jacket until now! So I busted out this jacket just for today! Happy FriYAY Friends!!

THE STYLE Rx: When you find something that makes you feel happy, then wear it as much as you can! Whether it’s a jacket, some earrings, a pair of jeans or shoes, invest in yourself!! My motto is “Dress for how you WANT TO FEEL!”

For me, this pink fluffy jacket makes me smile. Yes, I look like the pink Abominable Snowman, but I am darn happy anyways! To tone down the over-the-top feminine fluff out, I wore it with a simple white tank, pink scarf, and boyfriend jeans. Of course, pink shoes were a necessity and I added a pink pouf to my black bag to keep everything light hearted!

I know this jacket is a bit of a reach for some people! It would be so fun worn over a simple black dress with heels too. Or monochromatic is always a good thing and wearing this jacket with a pink top and pink midi skirt would be oh-so-pretty!
