Hello there! Yes, I’m still alive if you define alive as wondering around the house during the day in a blissful but sleepless zombie-like state. Lots of people told me that having a baby would change our lives. I think my little peanut has ROCKED OUR WORLD! It’s all been all good things though. Sleeping, eating, showering, and TIME are luxuries now. Who knew that my total daily intake could be just a brunch or a linner?! {And you know that I’m crazy about food.}
Motherhood has been an absolute blessing. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done in my life besides marry Mister S. My favorite times are feeding my little milk monster when I get to look at his beautiful face and see him looking at the world and bath time. His hair gets so fluffy – it’s adorable. I haven’t posted any actual pictures of him on the blog because I am still trying to decide on privacy.
Anyhow, I wanted to let you know that I’m here. Things may be a little erratic on the blog as I try to figure out some things. Please bear with me! It was an adventure when Mr. S and shot some photos last week. Hope y’all are having a great week! See you soon!

I thought those socks were too cute to pass up on! LOL! I’m getting on, but not very efficiently. Yesterday, I washed my face and brushed my teeth for the first time at 10pm!! It’s all worth it though!

Thank you Alyssa! I guess I’m just being cautious. The adoption paperwork that we signed doesn’t even allow birth announcements outside the house! We had to bring a wreath in from our door that our friends set up as a surprise!
Congratulations again Sam!! I don’t post very many pics of my little one – she is obviously a huge part of my life but I have always been unsure when it comes to protecting her privacy so ultimately I decided to keep her photos few and far in between. I do love when my favorite bloggers share their little ones photos though…
