It’s finally Fall in Texas!  Hooray!  I’ve been so excited to bring out my cold weather wears.  This past week, I wore this poncho/cape for a fun lunch with a new friend Holland and to my MIL’s birthday celebration.

Sometimes, it’s hard for me to deviate the “style” in which I wear an item.  I basically wore this poncho the exact same way last time.  To change it up, I wore a different bag and added a faux fur scarf.  Remember when I mentioned this Miru scarf from Anthropologie last month?  I returned it because it looked NOTHING like the picture on the catalog.  However, I did get this awesome faux fur infinity scarf from Target!

The Style Rx:  A poncho / cape is easy and beautiful to wear during the colder weather.  Throw it on over some skinny jeans or leggings and you’ll be set.  Add some over-the-knee boots and a fur scarf for added effect!
