Photography by Angie Garcia
After almost TWO YEARS, we finally got family portraits done! HOORAY! Angie was AMAZING and shot on a HOLIDAY so that Mr. S was available. Little M was not cooperating that day (apparently he was in the process of getting pink eye/an ear infection), but she got some fabulous shots.
The Style Rx: To keep us classic and cohesive, we wore WHITE. Solid colors tend to photograph better and coordinating colors will keep your family portrait relevant 5-10 years from now. Stick with a few colors (1-3) in a color palette to keep the focus on the family and not the clothing.
Just wanted to share a few of my favorites. I’m going to have some of these printed on a canvas to hang on our “family wall”. Do y’all have any recommendations on a company for that? Something like Minted or Shutterfly?! Happy Monday Friends!

Thank you!! And thanks about the hair – I actually just chopped off eleven inches! Was time… haven’t had short hair in over 10 years!
Thanks for trusting me to photograph your little family! It was such a joy to see all of the love you had for one another and Little M’s face when he would light up in happiness from the fun he was having. My fav has to be the 2nd to last photo.. so cute!! :) I’m looking forward to our next family session in the future. :)

You have such an adorable family Sam! What a handsome little boy your son is growing up to be – you and Mr S are obviously doing a great job as parents, he’s so happy!
I have no advice about printing canvases sorry! We went to a local place here for our wedding ones I don’t even think they are online!

Thank you Mica! Mr. S actually was tickling him to get him to smile! We didn’t realize he was getting sick, AND THAT’S WHY he wasn’t cooperating. His favorite word is “NO” recently! LOL!
And thanks for considering a recommendation! Hubby told me to look at a local place too, so I’ll probably check it out.
I love all the pictures. I hope you do Shutterfly albums. Priceless memories.
