My usual mom uniform is some variation of a tee and jeans. So I was delighted when CAbi asked me to put together three outfits revolving around a cozy and comfy tee! Today, I’m showing you how I wear a tee for Girls Night Out, work, and weekend wear! You should head over to the CAbi blog and see how the other bloggers are wearing their tees!

// GIRLS NIGHT OUT //
The drafting vest is EVERYTHING! It dresses up the serenity tee (a long sleeve tee) and slim boyfriends jeans so that I’m ready for an evening out with the gals and still comfy. I could have left the vest open for a more casual look. Belting it accentuates the waist. Just add the right accessories and I’m glammed up and ready to go! Chanel is always a good idea!
Wearing drafting vest, serenity tee, here or there belt, slim boyfriend jeans (trimmed and left the raw hem), Chanel brooch, vintage Celine clutch {love this one}, Tabitha Simmons heels {similar}, T+J Designs sunglasses.
// WORK //
The wrap tee is absolutely amazing because it’s dressy but feels like you’re wearing pajamas. I paired it with a black skirt (the utility skirt) and monochromatic striped jacket (the convertible jacket). I LOVE that the skirt has a pocket, and I would unzip the jacket to head to happy hour after work!

// WEEKEND WEAR //
The heather grey double-V tee matches perfectly with the quilted jacket and is a great staple piece. I love that you can layer with the duchess scarf for cold weather, but take off each piece (if you get too hot playing with the kiddos). If you strip it down to the basics, it’s a simple but awesome look with a grey tee and army green pants. Neutrals FTW!

Aren’t comfy tees your favorite?! You would laugh at my t-shirt collection. It’s absurd (because I have SO MANY) but I truly wear them all the time!
P.S. I have a birthday post coming up tomorrow! It was meant for yesterday… but you know how I am! ALWAYS LATE!

Looooooove that first look! The belt is perfection.

Thank you!! Yes, I LUUUURRVVEE that belt because the closure allows it to be worn on the true waist or lower at the hip! It’s so cool!
I’m on the hunt for more tees to add to my collection as I find I’m always wearing them too! Not as stylishly as you of course! That first look is stunning but I think the third is my favourite – it’s just so perfect for mum-duty! :) Something I could see myself wearing.

Thanks Mica!! And truly the 3rd way is how I wear them with the kids. That quilted jacket is SO FAB – it’s like wearing a super soft blanket but makes the outfit look dressy even though it’s just a tee!!
And I’m right there with you… tees are my favorite and always looking for good ones!
