Love the different ways you’ve used the ribbon! I love it on the pearl necklace, I have a faux pearl necklace from Indigo Rose Designs and it ties with the ribbon, I like swinging it around like you have and having the ribbon bow on display, it looks so nice :)

This is a great post Sam! Ribbons remind me of my childhood when I would wear them in my hair. These ideas are great for grown ups.
So cute. Love ribbon!
That’s neat Sam!!! I love the elegance of black ribbon. Love it in the hair and against pearls. Some really cool options chicadee!

How versatile is this? ! I love how you use them for cufflinks
Thanks Nelah! Actually, I got the idea when I saw a Tom Ford tuxedo shirt. I tried to find it online, but couldn’t! So I had to recreate the look.
These are great ideas Sam! I never thought of just using a ribbon as a belt… (I’m now thinking… duh :) ) I also love the idea for a headband and choker!
xoxo,
Rachel
this is genius, I love it!
oh i never thought to use it to shorten a necklace. that’s so creative! i used to collect a lot of ribbons when i was still in malaysia; actually just bought some to sew onto the side of an old pair of jeans!

LOVE that idea Stephanie! Ribbon tuxedo jeans – brilliant!
this is an awesome post..its so creative how you found ways to tie the ribbon
very clever! i wish i had a shirt which required cufflinks so I could try that one out.
Chic on the Cheap
Ohh I like it as a cuff link! Could also braid it into your hair :) Thanks for the tips!
Like the braiding idea too Kimberlee!
ok this is my kind of DIY. how simple and chic and inexpensive! i love these little posts like this, sam. keep em coming! xo
Sam, I’ll never look at ribbons the same way after this. I feel awful for chucking out a whole bunch of beautiful ribbons because I didn’t know what to do with them.
Don’t feel awful M! Your house is probably much more organized than mine! I’m almost a professional hoarder! :-X

Sam! I love this post! Such great ideas that I would have never thought of on my own! My favorite is definitely the ribbons as cuffs! That’s going to be the next thing I try…though I’ll need to get a cuff shirt first!
Loving how you put together this entire post!!
Red Soles and Red Wine
I have a few black ribbons sitting around – now I’ll have to experiment with these ideas! Thanks for sharing.
