Hellooooo Friends! YES, I am alive. Sorry for the lack of posts recently! Sometimes, life just gets a little crazy and NOTHING on my to-do lists get done. We had a nice weekend catching up with old friends (we haven’t seen in like 10 years!), learning more about adult adoptees and their experiences, more friend time, and some good ol’ family time…. Definitely my kind of weekend!
Anyhow, I’ve been DYING to post this outfit. (And yes, this was meant for Monday if you follow on Instagram!) I wore this on Friday night for double date night! We had a chance to reconnect with our amazing friends who we haven’t seen in forever. They started the Catholic journey light years before us and shared such good insight on how to keep things up and in perspective. It’s wonderful when you can surround yourself with friends who make you want to be a better person! Anyhow, I digress…
This dress is such a fun find from the FWMB Mom’s Night Out at Stella’s Boutique. I love dropped hem dresses (thanks to my friend Mica for inspiring me)! BTW, I did pin the back (and will eventually sew it) so I could have the neckline a little higher and it didn’t show side cleavage (not that I have any)… but to keep decent! AND you KNOW that stripes go with floral so I had to wear these MOST DARLING floral sandals. Um, I want to live in them… is that weird?!
The Style Rx: Pair stripes and florals for a fun and playful look every time! I know this dress is short on me, so another idea would be to pair a striped shirt with a floral skirt and VOILA! You’ll look amazing!
