It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re partnering with SOMA for their Spring campaign! THIS IS THE PROJECT that we’ve been dying to share for months!

Oh my goodness! We’ve kept this under wraps since December and FINALLY get to share the SOMA Spring Campaign with y’all! You may have caught some of the action on Instagram stories. We flew out to Florida for a fun-filled adventure with a photo shoot and video campaign for SOMA. It was so much fun to do all of this with the Chic at Every Age gals (and Natalie’s baby girl, Mila).
When we arrived in Florida, we got to meet the SOMA Dream Team! It was great to see a female creative director, especially for an intimates brand. What an AWESOME group of ladies, and we felt so honored to be a part of the campaign. It was a pinch-me moment for sure.
After getting hair and makeup done, then the fun part started and we got to wear and style the different Spring pieces. That’s when I discovered some of my new favorites like the high-waisted slimming leggings and vanishing edge panties. In addition to the vanishing back bra, these are serious life changers!!! No joke. I cannot believe that I’m just discovering these in my forties!

VANISHING BACK BRA // (wearing it in the pictures with the white tops) I discovered this amazing bra last year. I didn’t know it existed and then wondered how I lived without it my whole life! SOMA has found a solution for back fat, and it’s no joke. Yes, back fat. I know this isn’t something I usually talk about but it is a real problem that I deal with daily. Things start bulging, drooping, enlarging, etc. as you get older, and normal bras tend to accentuate those problems.
Even in my twenties, I noticed certain bras would just look awful on me and I didn’t know why. It was because they just made everything look bulgy with lines showing under my clothes. Ladies, you will thank me after trying this bra. I have two of the full-coverage nude ones since I wear them so often but am going to get the front-closing lace one too! They aren’t overly ornate, but they DEFINITELY do their job! You’re welcome!
VANISHING EDGE PANTY // (wearing it in the pictures with the slimming leggings) OMG! This underwear is amazing! Let me just say this. I HATE thongs! Sometimes they are a necessity but I only wear them if I absolutely have to. They are just so uncomfortable to me and feel like floss that’s about to cut me in half. Yes, that sounds a little dramatic, but that’s how I feel.
Don’t even get me started on wearing thongs to work out! That’s even WORSE!! Yes, I’m that girl in the gym with the absolutely HORRIBLE panty lines since I refuse to wear a thong to work out sometimes. Enter the vanishing edge panty. HALLELUYAH! They have silicone edges that hug your legs, stay in place, and don’t cause panty lines! FOR REAL!! I need to buy some more. BTW, SOMA panties are my favorite underwear, and I realized that I’ve only been reaching for those lately.
SLIMMING LEGGING // (wearing above with the grey tunic) So these are my new favorite leggings! I’ve posted them on my Instagram stories. They are high waisted and have a thick waistband which sucks you in. Plus the high waist gives a slimming look. Whatever secret material or cut they are using is phenomenal because everything is smoothed out, there are no lumps and bumps, and somehow I seem to lose an inch in my waist. Even Mr. S, who never notices my workout clothes, said that I looked cute when I wore them for a yoga outfit. BTW, I’m not sure if they’re meant for workout out, but I like them so much that I also use them for that!
COOL NIGHTS PAJAMAS // (wearing the tank and shorts with pockets – HOORAY!) The Cool Nights pajamas are the softest and coziest pajamas! They are such a luxurious treat to put on after a long day at work or with the kids. It ends the day on a positive note. They are perfect for these hot Texas nights because they literally feel cool to the touch and keep you comfortable while sleeping. BTW, I also own the embraceable PJ set that comes out during the holidays (and own three pairs). I love those so much that I got a pair for my mother and MIL!

Happy Friday Loves! I’m so happy it’s the weekend! The little ones are better, but I still have a cough. I’m taking probiotics and vitamins for a Hail-Mary and hoping to be 100% for a friend’s baby shower that I’m co-hosting on Sunday! Wish us luck, but we won’t need it because it’s going to be a blast! Spring is always so crazy with everything going on. What are you up to this weekend?

Oh this is awesome Sam! I loved the first video of everyone sharing a bit about themselves and their blog, but it’s the sleepwear video I was most interested in. I need nice new sleepwear! It’s such a shame it’s starting to cool off at nights here as I really like the navy set you’re wearing! Plus, pockets! I checked and they ship to Australia! Wondering if I should buy now so I have something cool to wear when summer rolls around, haha!

Oh Mica!! They are wonderful, and that would be a very nice Mother’s Day treat to yourself. The other SOMA PJs that I have are long sleeve and pants, and they are just as nice. Heather wears the three pieces with the tank and pants and then throws on a robe if it gets chilly. Honestly, you can’t go wrong! But I warn you that you’ll become hooked like I did! Lol!
