Happy Friday Friends!! Hope you’ve had an excellent week! Little M had a Strep infection that manifested as a crazy rash. I thought it was an allergic reaction at first. Anyhow, he is now on antibiotics and everything is much better. And I also started working out with a pal in the early morning (5 or 6am kind of early). It’s been OVER TWO YEARS since I’ve regularly exercised. Man, it’s been rough but I feel great after the a$$ kicking! The soreness is getting to me… I can barely put on my bra or sit on the toilet. Look totally geriatric, but at least we’re doing it! LOL!
Oh yes, this is a style blog so I better share some fashion with you right?! This is what I wore to the rewardStyle Master class in Dallas last week. The ruffled striped shorts were a no brainer when I saw them on sale. {Sorry they are sold now but HERE is a similar for $75.} I wore them with a black crop top for a fun summer look. They would also perfect with a simple tank or longer top and have those ruffles peeking out at the bottom for a dress effect. And a pair of black and white sandals make an excellent finishing touch!
The Style Rx: Stripes are basically a neutral and go with anything from leopard print to florals. It’s a fun way to add some pattern in your wardrobe while being “safe”! An easy way to incorporate stripes into your wardrobe would be with a classic striped tee. Wear it with skinny jeans and flats for an Audrey Hepburn look or casually with denim shorts for an easy summer outfit. When you’re comfortable with that, expand stripes to other parts of your wardrobe like bottoms, bags, and even shoes!
Do you own any striped shorts or pants?! I would LOVE to get a striped flare or midi skirt too. It’s just too fun! Happy weekend Loves!

I love the structure of this look Sam! Especially the top, it’s beautiful with that Chanel brooch! :)
Sorry to hear your son has been sick – glad he’s getting better but it’s never any fun when they are unwell! :(
I keep waiting for the reward style class to come to my city, haha! I don’t really make enough money from my blog to justify flying to another city for it. Maybe one day though! :)
