For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!
The 20-something // Natalie of The Fashion Hour
The 30-something // ME!
The 40-something // Heather of So Heather
The 50-something // Cathy of The Middle Page
Photography // Becca of Beckley & Co
Obviously, we are MAJOR fans of the Box of Style! In case you missed it, we shared the Summer BOS and Fall BOS in these posts. We cannot wait to show you these curated picks from Rachel Zoe. I think this one is my favorite Box of Style so far!
What’s in the WINTER BOX OF STYLE? It’s FIVE Fabulous pieces! ($400 VALUE FOR LESS THAN $85)… And everything is curated by RACHEL ZOE herself, so you KNOW it’s amazing!
SUNDAY RILEY LUNA SLEEPING OIL // (retail $105) I am a huge beauty fanatic and hear SO MANY great things about Sunday Riley so I was pumped that this face oil was in the box. It’s retinoic acid based formula (do not use if you are pregnant) which basically means it helps with skin plumpness, elasticity, hydration, and reduces pore size. I’m going to really look at that one! Plus, it stimulates skin cell proliferation. In other words, that’s how it gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles.
The blend of oils also contains blue tansy oil which is what gives it that blue color. Don’t worry, it won’t turn your skin blue! Blue tansy has anti-inflammatory and calming effects which are part of the reason that this oil isn’t too harsh even though it contains a retinol boost!
I can’t wait to update you on this oil after using it for longer. It’s only been a couple of days, but I have noticed a positive difference in my skin texture. After using it two days in a row, I noticed a little “tightness” so I will try every other day or layer a moisturizer on top. It has a mildly sweet and earthy smell (hints of Neroli oil) and so far it’s been great on my skin!
JULES KAE VEGAN LEATHER TOTE // (retail $150) This is such a great bag for SO many reasons. The blush color is a beautiful neutral that goes with everything from black to winter white. You can wear it over the crook in your elbow, over your shoulder (the strap is adjustable), or cross-body. I LOVE that it fits my laptop computer too (sideways).
It’s a toss-up between the face oil and this bag as my favorites in the box! I’ve gotten so many compliments when wearing this bag! I wore it as a “mini-travel” bag to carry 2 pairs of shoes, undergarments, and my makeup for a fashion show that I was walking in the other day. I’m just telling you – it’s FABULOUS!
For an easy and chic winter white look, the bag was the perfect finishing touch with an off-the-shoulder sweater, white cropped jeans, and white boots. Notice that they are different shades of white and cream but all go together. I love how fresh it looks with minimal effort!
EDDIE BORGO SOHO WATCH // (retail $115) What an elegant and timeless watch! I love the rose-gold mesh bracelet and white face. It’s simple but luxe and the low profile is very comfortable on my wrist. I’ve been wearing it paired with my gold bangle and love the metal mixing!
In case you aren’t familiar with Eddie Borgo, he is a New York based jewelry designer. He designs cool and edgy costume jewelry using traditional techniques and attention to detail that is normally attributed to fine jewelry. I can tell you it’s true because I own one of his studded bracelets, and even my jeweler thought it was real!
LUV AJ DIAMOND DISC RING // (retail $85) You know I’m a huge fan of anything easy and glam, and this ring checks off both boxes. It’s a pre-stacked ring so your finger will be well adorned when wearing it, and you don’t even have to think about it! The fun part is that you get to choose between rose gold OR yellow gold and two sizes (S/M or M/L).
I chose the rose gold ring to match my watch and wearing size S/M. I’ve been wearing it alone but think it would be so fun to stack it with another ring for an extra glam look!
AMIKA VELVETEEN DREAM SMOOTHING BALM // (retail $25) This cruelty and sulfate free hair balm is a lazy girl’s dream! It is a heat-protectant, anti-frizz, shine producing, and hydrating hair balm all-in-one!!
I was so excited to use this after opening the box that I washed my hair that night (and I don’t wash my hair every day) and applied the balm! I sleep with wet hair (yes I know that’s bad and I told you that I was lazy! LOL!) and woke up with unfrizzy hair the next morning. After curling my hair, I was happy with the shine and the way it seemed to hold the curl! Again, I will update you after using this longer.
By the way…

Tis the season for busy-ness and this Winter is just that! I love that the Box of Style has fabulous essentials to keep you chic and stylish throughout the Holiday Season. We have all been running around, and it was fun to come together for our shoot. We all wore our version of a Chic Winter White.
Cathy looks FAB.U.LOUS in her plush coat, fuzzy, sweater and white boots! Of course, I adore Heather’s outfit with the fur jacket and midi skirt. I kept with chic but casual with an off-the-shoulder sweater, white cropped jeans, and white booties. Natalie looks beautiful in a cable knit sweater, white culottes, and heels.
And we are so excited to share a special discount code, CHIC15, for our lovely friends and readers!

Y’all, that’s $400 worth of style finds for less than $85!!!Happy Monday Friends! I can’t believe we are already to Thanksgiving. This month is flying by! The kids are home from school this week so we are trying to stay busy with fun activities. I found Gratitude Tree in the dollar bin at Target, and we are going to do that as one of our projects. I just love this time of year but also get overwhelmed with all of the activities. It’s nice to take some time and think about what we are thankful for in this season. What are y’all up to this week?
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!
