On Valentine’s Day, I had a full agenda. Â That morning, I was privileged enough to be a part of the Fort Worth Womens’ Club Red Dress Luncheon Fashion Show. Â Thanks to Jan Strimple for asking me to participate as a model. Â {None of us were true runway models, but we had SO MUCH FUN!} Â I felt so elegant walking the catwalk in the beautiful clothing of Betty Reiter… more on that later this week! Â Thank goodness I only tripped during the rehearsal and not the actual show!
Later, the Mister and I met for an appointment with a real estate agent. Â Then we zoomed off to a geriatric dinner {started before 5pm} to celebrate Valentine’s day before picking up the little one from daycare.
Nothing like a quick change {just the jacket and shoes} to take your look from day to night or in our case early evening!

And the red peplum top is so fitting for Valentine’s day :) Hope you had a great dinner! Congrats on getting to walk in the show too, that would have been fun :)

Thanks Mica! I’ve been looking for a “fun” way to wear that vintage jacket. It doesn’t quite match as the houndstooth is black, pink, and orange. But from far away, it seems to have a good effect!
And it was really fun AND NERVE WRACKING to “walk the runway”. But I’d do it again in a heartbeat! Loved wearing all the pretty clothes!
It’s funny how two tiny changes can completely change a look! I really like both of these, especially that vintage jacket.
