Hey Hey Friends! It’s officially December, and about ONE MILLION things are going on. Weather is still crazy in Texas. Is it Winter or Summer? But I still want to talk to you about my latest fashion obsession, the puffer coat! Of course, I found this metallic puffer coat at one of my faves! ;)

Yes, it’s another Tarjay find. I had been ogling all of these season’s stylish puffer coats and I spotted this metallic puffer coat on the way to the checkout line. Darn you Target and all of your cute clothes (and home decor)! Anyhow, I threw it in the cart and was on my merry way. I can never leave the grocery store or Target for less than $100. GEEZ!
And yes, puffer coats have been around for ages. However, they got a stylish update this season as designers have them in different colors and shapes. So NOW, they will keep you warm AND you look cool! Total win! Mr. S teases me because I like a functional something more when it’s made “fashiony” as he states it! And yes, it’s true! LOL!
THE STYLE Rx: Keep warm but look cool in this season’s puffer jacket! (Traditional puffer jackets are cool too!)
BTW, I’m not joking about the puffer jacket update! There are cross-over jackets, asymmetrical jackets, metallic jackets (obviously a fave), bright colors, velvet jackets, and even silk!
THE FIT DETAILS: I got a size SMALL in this puffer jacket and FYI, the sleeves are short. Even when you look at it on the model, they are short!
Happy Hump Day Loves! Hope y’all are having a fabulous week so far. I have been trying to get things in order and really motivated after starting the book, The Simplified Life. It is really good and has actionable tips to help simplify life. I need all the help I can get! Mr. S and I had a heart-to-heart talk last night because I’ve been so frustrated with how chaotic life has been lately. He’s helped me to remember to give myself some grace. I’m still sleep deprived. I’ve been up since 3am for Baby Girl, then Little M woke up at 4am because he said his room was too scary, and then Baby Girl woke up again so I just stayed up! I’ll be on the coffee train for sure today!

Oh my goodness that is not a lot of sleep Sam !I hope things settle down for you soon, it’s hard when you’re a mum of two as they take turns keeping you awake, haha!
It’s a shame we don’t need jackets like this in Brisbane as this is really fun in the silver! :)
