So, who doesn’t need a pink tux romper? That’s what I told myself in the dressing room when I was frantically shopping the day before the rewardStyle conference. {I only had an hour after checking on house things and running other errands before picking up the little one.} My willpower gave out to nerves, and I added more things to my closet than the FIVE PIECES for the season. This is what I wore for The Outnet’s 5th Birthday Party to close the second day of the conference. {I forgot the earrings and clutch since I had to bring this outfit and change!}
Okay, here’s the CONFESSION! Yes, I DID get way more than FIVE PIECES this season, and it happened because I was nervous about the Conference. I DO like each item and can see myself wearing them multiple ways. The only exception is this romper which I think I could wear a little more casual {maybe with flat sandals}?? These are the items that DID ME IN… Zara striped crop top {seen here} and Zara white crop top {seen here}, Alice & Olivia leather crop top {seen here}, and finally this L’Agence pink romper. Looks like the crop tops got me in trouble! Who would have guessed! Anyways, just coming clean on not sticking to my New Year’s resolutions. I still haven’t even posted about my other items but will soon.
Hope y’all had a beautiful weekend! My brother-in-law graduated and has his Doctorate. Whoo hoo! We spent Mother’s Day hanging out and eating good food… two of my faves with my favorite men! Happy Monday friends! xx

So far I’ve been good with my five piece limit, but I did buy something last weekend that I don’t really need, so I may have wasted one of my items, we’ll see though

haha I know if I ever attempted a shopping restriction, I’d fail. As long as you see yourself wearing the pieces more than once… then no harm :) Love this look! I’m super into shorts for evening like suits (not sure if they have a name…) Definitely try to dress it down. Play with it!
