It’s been way TOO LONG since my last From Grandma with Love post, and I’m resurrecting the series. It will be on the blog every other Wednesday!
For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a twice monthly series that is one of my faves! (It used to be weekly, but I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things.) I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe. She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!

I ADORE this dress, and how could I not?! 1) It’s pink! 2) There are flowers! 3) It’s a maxi dress! 4) It’s vintage! It’s the dream of vintage maxi dress dreams! LOL! It makes me want to be on vacation, so that’s exactly how I wore it for this shoot! I WISH we were going somewhere that required this kind of dress!
Of course, I paired it with super fun accessories from BEEHIVE Boutique – cherry earrings and a strawberry basket bag. Why not?! And those floral sunglasses wanted to play too!
THE STYLE Rx: Make your maxi dress stand out with fun accessories. They don’t have to be fruits ;) but a gorgeous hat and fabulous straw bag would do the trick!
Maxi dresses are my favorite for Summer. They are functional (because I can bend and move to keep up with the kids without wardrobe malfunctions) and look so chic (like you actually made effort but you threw a dress on)! Wait until you see the next GMA maxi dress!

Yes, so much yes to maxi dresses being the best mum wear for summer! I am layering mine up so I can keep wearing them in winter, they are just such an instant outfit that takes little thought but looks great! :)
