For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a twice-monthly series that is one of my faves! I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe. She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!

This pretty pink jacket is actually part of a suit set, but I broke it up to show the versatility. That’s the beauty of a suit set. It’s three automatic outfits – the suit, the jacket, and the pant/skirt. Of course, I adore pink so this was an easy one for me! I wore it with a necktie blouse, distressed jeans, and cap-toe heels for a modern take on a classic look. It’s very feminine but a little edgy with the distressed jeans on and keeping the necktie undone.
Even though this is an oldie, it’s definitely a goodie. A cropped jacket is so easy to throw on and make any outfit look chic. I love that the sleeves are cropped too so sleeve details show. The different lengths of the jacket and top add interest to the outfit. Plus, this candy-colored hue is in for Spring! Hooray for fashion always cycling back around.
THE STYLE Rx: Break up a suit set to get the most wear out of it. Separate them in the closet so that you remember to use piece separately.
By the way, this would be a cute casual outfit for Easter. It’s inspiration if you have similar pieces in your closet!

Happy Good Friday Loves! We are on a family vacation in Colorado and having a blast! I’ve been posting a lot on Instagram stories. Today is my Goddaughter’s birthday and we are going to celebrate tonight. Tomorrow, my other best friend flies in, and our three families are celebrating their confirmation into the Catholic church. Such a pretty shade of pink!!! And yes, suit sets are so great for mixing and matching! I only have one but its just a blazer and pants…and its burgundy velvet, sooooo, not much to mix it with, haha!

Oh that’s a lovely pink jacket! The statement sleeves underneath are just the perfect layer with it, and I will always like pink with denim as I love pink and blue! :)
