I know, I know. Β Pink seems to be my uniform lately. Β This was my outfit for the first day of the rewardStyle Conference. Β Remember what I learned about PINK from the Chanel makeup guru?! Β I decided to try out his theory sinceΒ I was extremely excited and nervous about meetingΒ a room full of fashionable people. Β And… this was my first time to try the crop top trend! Β You’ll notice there’s barely any skin showing. Β That is for two reasons – 1) I have scars from endometriosis surgery and 2) I feel it’s momma appropriate!
Style Rx: Β Make a crop top chic by wearing a high-waisted skirt or pant that hides your navel. Β You’ll be on trend but age appropriate. Β For you pretty young things out there, you can wear a crop top any which way and look fabulous!
What do you think?! Β Too much pink lately? Β Too old to try the crop top? Β I kind of hope not, because I have a couple of outfits recently with a crop top. Β Have YOU tried a crop top yet?
Love this skirt and top combination, so pretty
Thanks Casey! Just hopped on over to y’all blog – so FUN that y’all are in the DFW area! :)
Ah, I know. I am thinking about getting a happy hour for Dallas bloggers together. Would you be interested?

Hi Casey! That sounds like LOADS of FUN! I’d definitely be interested! It just depends on the date and time (bc of the little one and since I live in Fort Worth)!
YOU LOOK GORGEOUS! I love this overall look.

Thanks Rachel!
Also, good to know about the NYC brow kit. I’ve been looking for a brow kit since I lost my brow pencil (which had wax in it).
Sam, that skirt is perfection! In love with this entire look and head over hills for your Celine bag! Just gorgeous.
Thank you Berty! It was an old find on ebay! No one was interested in pink leopard at the time so I got it for around $40!
Pink really is beautiful on you Sam! That is such a nice skirt! :) Love the pink leopard print – I have a pair of jeans with the same coloured print! :)
And you make a crop top look really stylish :) I’m much too self conscious to ever wear one, I don’t think I could pull it off as stylishly as you :)

Oh fun Mica! I know about your grey leopard print jeans because I have some similar to yours.
I’m not sure WHY I decided I was going to try the crop top, but then I DID and now I’ve embraced it. LOL! Actually, I’ve seen a pregnant blogger wear a crop top and she looked super cute! But you DO have to feel comfortable with it first. So true.
I’m glad you tried it and it worked for you! My sister let me try on one of her crop tops (long story, I’ll spare you the background) but it really didn’t work with the third trimester baby bump! Might see if it’s still in fashion by the time I get my body back to pre-pregnancy state.

I think you’ve put such a classy spin on the crop top! I’m not much on trying one myself but you look fantastic!! And I am looooooving that skirt – two of my favorite things…leopard print + pink!!!

I love this outfit, it’s so cool! You’re showing the perfect amount of skin, just a teeeeeeny peek. That’s what I’d do too

Thanks Maci! LOVE you and MISS YOU too! xx
Love the fresh take on the leopard print in a flirty pink!
I also recently got into crop tops after thinking girls my size could never pull them off. You look fabulous!

Oh yay! It seems like the crop top can be worn by anyone – you just have to feel right in it!!! Some are more comfortable at showing a little more skin than others!
