It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re SO excited to be partnering with LAGOS Jewelry for Mother’s Day!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

Happy Friday Friends! Hope your week has been fab! Today, the Chic Gals are styling a fabulous long cardigan perfect for Spring. I’ve always been a fan of kimonos and long cardigans. They are so chic and easy to wear but elevate any outfit!
Wear a slimmer silhouette when adding a long cardigan or kimono. For example, wear skinny jeans and a tank or tee. That balances out the length and still gives you some shape. OR you can go for flow with wide leg pants and a flowy top. Just make sure you are belted at the waist to give shape!
The awesome thing about this long cardigan is that it is a linen blend which means it hangs beautifully and is a great material for warmer weather! It also comes in 11 different colors and patterns and is less than $70!
THE STYLE Rx (aka Lazy Girl Glam tip):
Find a good foundation (like jeans and a tee or a white blouse and slacks) and you’ll be able to throw any jacket over for an easy but chic outfit.
You can never go wrong with a lace cami as the base for jeans and a jacket/cardigan outfit. A simple cami works too, but the lace give it textural interest!
I’ve been wearing these jeans non-stop lately! Levi’s are my faves (probably because I’m old school), and this pair is easy to wear because of the higher waist, cropped hem, and small amount of stretch. My other Levi’s are rigid denim (which mean 100% cotton and NO stretch).
P.S. Levi is the denim company that invented the blue jean. Even though they’ve been in the industry forever, they understand the impact that fashion can have on the Earth and utilize the Water<Less program to save 50 billion liters of water by 2020. So awesome!
Let’s talk about how the gals wore it, shall we?!
I love how all of our outfits are casual in basically a tee and jeans or shorts. That’s always a good foundation for an outfit!
Cathy looked so fun and preppy with a striped tee and her golden goose sneakers! I would TOTALLY wear that around the Littles. Heather was pink perfection a white tee, the blush cardigan, and clear heels. I am also wearing a white tee and jeans but decided to pattern mix with a striped cardigan and leopard heels. Natalie looks vacation ready in denim shorts and espadrilles.
How would YOU wear this cardigan?

Happy Friday Glam Fam! Mr. S is out of town so we are hanging solo this weekend! I have to come up with some fun activities to keep the kids busy!
I can’t believe how quickly they are growing up! It’s almost Summer and Little M will be starting Kindergarten next year! It makes me kind of emotional to think about!
