FIVE STYLE SECRETS (freebie)

I was looking for a way to wear red and pink when I pulled this cardigan and skirt out.  When I put it on, I felt a flashback to the 50s and the song Peggy Sue came to mind!

Guess I’ve had a lot on songs in my head lately!

cardigan:  CABI // skirt:  Moschino Cheap and Chic {similar} // brooch: vintage {similar} // earrings: vintage Chanel // bag: vintage // heels: Prada // sunglasses: Karen Walker

To change up the cardigan, I used a brooch to pin it as a wrap shirt.  {I saw this idea in InStyle Makeover a couple of years ago!}  It would be better if my cardigan didn’t have pockets!  To tie everything together, I threw on some neutral accessories.  {Leopard counts as a neutral in my book!}

This is my first time to participate in Everybody: Every wear!!  So fun to try these style challenges!

P.S.  Today is the day to submit your outfits pictures for our {virtual} Fashion Week blowout party tomorrow!!  Check out the details here!!

    LOVE this, we both paired our red and pink EBEW with leopard prints. Your skirt and heels are to die for! That “faux wrap” is an awesome idea, I have a similar cardigan that would be really fun that way, I’m going to try it out. Hope to send you an outfit tonight for the party!

  4. Mary Ann says:

    Love everything about this outfit! The retro glasses, red lips, the big earrings, the way you accentuated your waist, slim skirt, heels, and especially the bag!! You really nailed this look. And growing up, I listed to a radio station that played all 50s and 60s oldies, so I know Peggy Sue very well, haha!

  5. Lilly says:

    You look fabulous in this color combo! And those heels are hot! :)

  6. Very chic and glamorous. I esp. love the star pin – very original. I alwasy assumed pink and red would look too washy next to each other but looks great on you.
