Alrighty y’all, this is the post where I wear the skirt as a skirt.  In case you missed it, I wore it as a top here. Ha!  I’ve reached for this outfit many times, but the weather has been so frigid!  In fact, it was an artic blizzard when we took these pics. I’m pretty much frozen in the first picture.  It sounds dramatic but it was in the 40s and windy = artic blizzard for those of us in Texas!

I was feeling super peppy in my peplum and pattern mixing!  Isn’t the zip line blazer adorable?  You know I’m a sucker for anything that can be worn multiple ways.  Zip off the peplum and POOF!  It’s a cropped jacket.  The cute star lining on the inside had me at hello.  {BTW, I did wear the blazer to work and IMMEDIATELY spilled coffee on myself.  You can see it on the sleeve in the 3rd pic.  Don’t you hate it when that happens?!  I think all of my clothing has some kind of coffee stain.}

Can you guess what I LOVE about the REVERSIBLE wrap skirt?  It’s reversible!  The black and white pattern is peeking out in the last pic!  So basically, you can wear it FOUR ways – two tops and two skirts.  Mind blown!  The zip line blazer, button back top, and reversible wrap skirt are all part of the CAbi Spring line which makes me super happy!

The Style Rx: Pattern mixing scare you?  No worries.  Keep it simple with colors in the same tone!  And remember, animal print goes with everything!

What do you think about the pattern mixing?  Too much or just enough?  Mr. S is not a fan!

P.S. I hinted at it earlier this month… I’m officially a weekly contributor the the Fort Worth Magazine Fashion Blog!  Check out my first post here.  And you’ll also see my gal Alexandra posting there too!

P.P.S. Sorry this post is a day late… you know how it is with me!  womp womp.

P.P.S.S. In case you missed it, it’s a two part series… ONE skirt TWO ways! Check out the ways I wore it:  skirt for PLAY || skirt for DAY

  1. Love all the print mixing! The inside of that jacket is so fun! I have a few jackets with really great lining. Such a great touch and added luxury.

      And girl… so many coffee stains in so many clothing! I should be the coffee stain remover expert by now!

      I really love it when you can find versatile pieces and bonus that the skirt has an elastic band! Those are so comfy, and you can disguise it with a belt if you want!
