Happy Wednesday Loves! Yes, the title IS correct! And I AM wearing a SKIRT… as a top! It’s one of my favorite “tricks” of style! :) Remember when I wore this Missoni x Target skirt as a top? Same deal! It’s a great way to make multiple uses of one item. BTW, the top {aka reversible wrap skirt}, malibu flare jeans, and zip line blazer are all from the CAbi Spring collection! I’m loving all the bright colors and mix and match pieces. It’s so easy to go from day to play! Stay tuned because tomorrow I show you how to wear this skirt {as a skirt} for work.
The Style Rx: Have an elastic band skirt? Wear it as a top! If it’s a maxi skirt, then you can wear it as a dress {as I did here}!
BTW, the 70s are back in a big way for Spring. Flare jeans, clogs, fringes and tassels have been in my closet waiting to be worn! Woohoo! I’ve always LOVED flare jeans. They are flattering on everyone! Ideally, you’d want the jeans to be just above the floor but I ordered the jeans a size too small. Oops! Keep that in mind if you are shopping for a pair of flare! And if you’re wondering why I’m wearing a big fur coat in the last pic, it’s because it was absolutely FREEZING when we shots these pics… and it’s goes with the 70s-ish outfit!
Have you worn a skirt as a top? Are you ready for flare jeans to make the Spring scene?! Would love hear your thoughts!
In case you missed it, it’s a two part series… ONE skirt TWO ways! Check out the ways I wore it: skirt for PLAY || skirt for DAY

Thanks sweet Stacey!! Please don’t apologize!! I’m the worst!! And I still haven’t sent my holiday cards- it’s March! I guess they’ll be Spring cards!!
You wear that skirt as a top really nicely Sam! :) Good way to get more out of your wardrobe! I don’t have any skirts that would look nice as tops..unless I maybe tried a maxi skirt as a dress like you linked to. I have done that a few times before (pre-blog!).
And I think those jeans are a really good length too, you don’t want them so long they drag and get ripped :)
