Hey Friends!! I always love doing these kinds of posts. In case you didn’t know, I’m a sucker for anything with multiple uses. I try to get year-round wear of pieces in my wardrobe. When an item comes into my closet that has passed the test, I just want to share it with everyone!
THIS DRESS is one of those pieces! I found the Band of Outsiders khaki dress for… oh around $50 (likely retailed for $600) at Clothes Circuit. {In case you haven’t heard of them, I did a little post on them here. Long story short, they are a fabulous consignment shop in Dallas!} It honestly was a staple piece this Summer i.e. I would wear it multiple days in a row if I were going to different locations and didn’t think the same people would see me! It’s the perfect color and goes with anything. Duh, it’s khaki! I love the structure and the “oversize” brings serious comfort because I can hide a full grown food baby under there! There’s actually a belt that goes with it, but I prefer to wear it without.
THE STYLE Rx: A khaki dress is one for the
bookscloset! With the right accessories, you’ll be earning more than merit badges. Keep it simple with a tote and sandals for the Summer. {Stay tuned to see how I wear it for Fall!}
Anyhow, this is ONE of the main ways you would have seen me wearing this dress during Summer. White accessories, like a leather tote and studded sandals, keep it light and airy for summer {and what we call Fall in Texas}! Bright lips add color to an otherwise muted palette.
