Practicing the Five Piece French Wardrobe has led me to discover new brands for basics. Lately, I’ve been living in grey sweatshirts! My sweatshirt hunt led me right to TOGGERY brand. I LOVE their mission statement… to design and create the best contemporary tees, tanks and dresses while maintaining local manufacturing and sustainable practices. BTW, they are based in the US!
Look at this simple black dress – can’t go wrong with a LBD right?! It’s perfect for the summer, and I’ve layered it with a scarf and leather jacket for the colder months. This will be a go-to when I’m traveling later this year. I ordered a size up so it wouldn’t be too snug, and I love how the sleeves partially cover my hands.
I had the chance to chat with the TOGGERY founder, Kate D’Arcy. She is so great that I wanted to share more about the company!! So, here’s a brief Q&A sesh so you can learn a little more about them.
What inspired you to start TOGGERY?
I love clothing, styling and everything fashion so I’ve always knows that this industry is where I wanted to be. I was inspired to start TOGGERY because I saw a void in the marketplace for a brand that designed clean sophisticated basics that were high quality, moderately priced and made in the USA and had a . I had experience and time in the industry prior to starting TOGGERY which made me confident in taking a leap of faith and starting a business.Which is your favorite TOGGERY item?
Every day of the week you can find me in either our classic short sleeve v-neck tee or our short sleeve low scoop tee, I have a ton of colors in each and they are constantly in my closet rotation. Every season there tends to be one style I can’t live without, this season is definitely our Romper, which is currently sold out on line but will be restocked by mid-January! BTW, I’m completely OBSESSED with their jumpsuit – you know how I am about those!Do you have a new item in the works that you’d like to share with us?
Each season we work with new fabrics and look to expand the collection. Our newest fabric group is wovens which will launch online in late Spring. I’m really excited about this group, we designed a shirtdress that I’m dying to get in my closet!Where do you make TOGGERY?
TOGGERY is proudly made in the USA! Our production office is located in Philadelphia, all of our products are cut and hand sewn in Pennsylvania.Where can we purchase TOGGERY?

Thank you Alison! It’s so simple and easy so I’m glad it looks sophisticated!
Oh I love cute little basics like this that you can dress up or down and accessorise so many different ways. I love how you’ve accessorised it here, just perfect Sam! :)
I think when you find a brand that makes great basics you should stick with it – so it’s wonderful they are expanding their range continually! :)
