How have I not posted about this FABULOUS faille Miu Miu skirt! Β I purchased it last year at this event. Β It just so happened that my mom was in town to see the little one, our financial planner business dinner was canceled, and so Mr. S and I had an impromptu date night in the middle of the week! Β HOORAY!
I decided to be “dressy casual” as Mr. S calls it. Β And this super fun and flirty skirt was calling my name. Β In case you aren’t familiar with faille, it is a woven fabric with a faint ribbed pattern – I almost equate it to grosgrain ribbon. Β It has a stiffness and excellent drape that makes it perfect for a skirt or special occasion dress. Β You may have seen those gorgeous TIBI midi skirts around the blogosphere. Β Anyhow, I’ve worn this skirt time and time again, but it’s never made an appearance on the blog. Β It can be dressed up or down, which is a plus plus for me.
Style Rx: Β Wear a graphic tee and circle skirt with heels for a perfect “dressy casual” date night look. Β Add bling… do you really need a reason for bling?!?!!!

Thanks Meg!! YES, it IS one of my favorite skirts which is why I cannot believe it hasn’t made the blog yet! Too many clothes, not enough time! I feel like you know what I’m talking about, except you take more blog pics which is great!!!
And we were totally WOO HOO about date night! I need to find a regular babysitter so we can go on those more often… instead of once every couple of months.
This outfit is so fun! I am also super jealous of those amazing legs!
