For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

Happy Friday Friends! I’m so excited about today’s post because I LOVE this jacket and how we all styled it. If you don’t know me, then let me just share that I’m a HUGE FAN of furs!! They are so cozy and add a touch of luxe to any outfit! This leopard teddy jacket is no exception.
HOW TO STYLE A LEOPARD FAUX FUR JACKET
Fur jackets are my personal favorite and wardrobe staple during the colder months! If you follow me on social media, then you’ll see my outfits with fur jackets sprinkled throughout. In addition to keeping you warm, they elevate your outfit by adding that textural element. Heather and I always joke that between both of our closets, we could outfit all of our friends in fur! LOL!
THE STYLE Rx: A leopard fur jacket is a fabulous wardrobe staple because 1) it’s fur and 2) it’s leopard! Enough said! ;)
I mentioned before that leopard is a neutral and goes with everything! It can be worn with black, white, or denim and look stunning. As you can see in our pictures, it’s easy to wear a fur jacket and dress it up or down whether it’s with jeans, a skirt, or leather. The main thing to watch is where the hem hits on your body. This leopard jacket is considered cropped and hits right at the true waistline making it flattering to wear with basically anything!
Having the right foundation basics let you pull together an outfit seamlessly. I kept it basic in all black, and the varied textures of knit and leather keep it from being boring!
My top is a classic V-neck top which is timeless. It is literally 20 years old since I received it as a college graduation present from my mom. It’s a definite oldie but goodie.
A leather skirt is a wonderful wardrobe piece and can be edgy but classy at the same time. Again, this one is super old (from The Limited- remember them?) but has stood the test of time.
Finally, I wore some of my favorite (older) Isabel Marant booties which are trending again since the Western theme is back. As always, her pieces are a splurge but I always get them on sale. They add that je ne sais quoi to any outfit, especially her shoes/boots.
HOW WE WORE A LEOPARD FAUX FUR JACKET
Don’t the gals look fabulous! We were having lunch at the Mirador before this shoot and got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on our outfits. This jacket is such a great piece and less than $80!
Cathy’s white jeans and printed top keep it fresh for Winter! I never would have considered those options, but I LOVE the way it all goes together. Heather’s outfit is AMAZING with those paper bag leather pants, white tank, and Balenciaga heels. I want everything! LOL! I accented my leopard fur jacket with a black top, leather skirt, and ankle booties. There’s something to be said about wearing all black. Natalie looks so cool in her ripped denim and beanie hat! She can pull off any kind of hat!
So how would you wear a leopard fur jacket?
