Howdy Friends! We are currently in Napa enjoying the beautiful sights, yummy foods, and wonderful weather (better than Texas right now). You can call it a very LAST MINUTE babymoon. Little brother did good and got me this fab J Crew excursion vest for Christmas! (I know… more late Christmas stuff!) I was super excited after opening the box, but I was contemplating what to wear with it. I’ve seen them look fantastic on other people but never considered getting one for myself.
I wore denim (top) on denim (jeans) for a sporty and preppy look to a Junior League meeting. I picked up my friend, Katherine, who was wearing the same vest in green! She wore it with a gorgeous green druzy/geode necklace, black turtleneck, slacks, and high heels for work. This vest is so versatile – I never considered wearing it dressy! It is perfect for running around town in this chilly weather and casual enough to wear with Little M. My friend proved that it’s cute enough to wear to work.
BTW, it’s on super sale (extra 40% off) right now. It runs big. I’m wearing an XS if that tells you anything.

I don’t have any puffer vests – I find vests tricky as I’d rather have my arms covered, but I do admire people like yourself who can wear them well. The plaid works perfectly with the double denim and makes a great casual outfit! :)
