Hello dear friends!!
Those Dior Extreme Gladiator Heels were my complete obsession for all of 2008! I stalked and stalked them until they were on sale. And then I bought them even though the price was still higher than I was comfortable with… because I couldn’t get them out of my head. I’ve always been a fan of Dior and was ecstatic when the documentary, Dior and I, showed in Dallas. #JAdoreDior
It’s an inspirational, intimate, and organic look at Raf Simon’s first haute couture collection for Christian Dior as new art director (replacing John Galliano). As a hopeless romantic and dreamer, I am completed obsessed with the movie as it has a truly magnificent ending.
In fact, I loved it SO MUCH that I’m seeing it AGAIN now that it’s coming to Fort Worth! And… drum roll please… I have TWO cafe seating tickets to GIVE AWAY!! This would be a fabulous girls’ night out event or even date night!

I too love Dior and have had a slight obsession with the fashion juggernaut for many years. In fact, I have sketches from Christian Dior’s early days hanging in my dressing room :) I have watched this movie a few times with various friends and all agree that it is a fascinating look into the history, future, hierarchies and traditions of the fashion house as well as the struggles and successes of the people behind the scenes. It’s a wonderful documentary whether you love fashion or not. This showing at the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth would make for the perfect girl’s night out!!
