Happy Monday Lovelies! Christmas is less than a week away which means lots of friends, family, and gatherings. I’m sharing five outfit ideas to look fabulous in whether you’re hosting or attending a holiday soiree. Since it’s me, you know it has to be quick and easy but still have some kind of sparkle or shine! Just because time is limited doesn’t mean you can’t look glamorous!
Whether you’re a classic girl, lover of lavish and luxe, or want to channel your inner 90’s gal with velvet overload, I hope you’ll be inspired by these looks!
MIDI SKIRT + SWEATER
This is such beautiful and classic look with the star of the show being a gorgeous jacquard or full skirt. You can wear each piece separately after the holidays too! Right now, WHBM has those gorgeous velvet heels for 50% off! My jacquard skirt is sold out but they have some other fabulous options as well.
OFF THE SHOULDER TOP + JEANS
Shoulders are a beautiful part of the woman’s body that never ages. Showing off your shoulders during the holidays is a glamorous way to look demure without being overtly sexy. Balance it out by keeping the legs covered with pants/ jeans.
VELVET DRESS
(original post here)
Take a nod from the 70s in a wrapped velvet dress. The luxe fabric instantly elevates your look. Just add bold accessories and you’re ready for anything!
STATEMENT TOP + FLARE JEANS
(original post here)
Sometimes a gal just wants to wear jeans to be comfy. I get it. Dress up jeans for the holidays with a statement top. This one happens to come in 3 different colors (marigold, raspberry, and black) and is the perfect mix of velvet and lace. Bonus that the sleeves won’t get in your way (like major bell sleeves)!
JUMPSUIT + BLAZER
I’m a forever fan of the jumpsuit! You look uber chic with minimal effort. Throw on layers of jewelry with a blazer (metallic for a fun effect), and you’re set for a fabulous fete! Pictured is a past season playsuit and blazer from CABI!
It’s definitely a Monday, and I have 5,184,876 things on my list to do before we host Christmas lunch (finish decorating, just ordered Christmas cards, CLEAN, make a grocery list, CLEAN, finish thank you cards from Thanksgiving, etc.)! How does it seem like the days fly by so quickly as we get older?! Anyhow, I’ve been reading the daily Best Advent Ever emails from Dynamic Catholic. Today’s post is on GRATITUDE, and it’s really hit home. Yes, things are crazy busy this time of year, but I’m SO THANKFUL that we even get to worry about having a Christmas together. Some people don’t even have running water or a home. It’s the little things that we should be so grateful for like waking up every morning, getting to see your beautiful children, kissing your loving husband goodbye. I’m not trying to get all sentimental on you, but I LOVE it when I can share something wonderful and special with y’all.

These are all so fun! I love the mix of comfortable and dressy! So far I only have one holiday look picked out, but thats because I need to wear it tonight! Ha ha. Otherwise I’ll end up being lazy and just wearing dresses. (tonight is a dress too)

Ooh I love these outfits but that green midi skirt is my favourite, it’s stunning on you! :)
And yes, I’m feeling so grateful for Christmas this year, ad not having to spend time in hospital with baby boy like we did last year!
