Love the olive dress. It goes so well with the brown boots. The scarf is so pretty.

Love this dress and the scarf is such a perfect splash of color. I agree with Health, army/olive green works with most skin tones and coordinates well with most colors- its such a staple color for me my bff calls me Wilderness Girl, lol.
Love this look and I agree that adding a splash of color to break up the greens was the way to go! And I love the color of those brown boots!
gorgeous scarf!
HAHAHA Sam! You are too funny! No you didn’t say hides food stains. HAHAHA Love it!!! That’s a great green dress. I love BOTH looks! Glad you recycle girl. Our recycling program just returned to NOLA. :D Have an awesome day!!!

Hi Sam: I adore this outfit for many reasons. The military green dress is super chic/boots are beautifully paired with the dress. Adding that H scarf is just brilliant. I have been thinking of ways to incorporate a bright and bold fushia and salmon colored H scarf into my outfit without looking tacky, you answered my pray! Thanks for an inspiration :)
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on my post. I totally agree that we all can feel that pressure at some point in our blogging journey. However, I think it is important to remember the “true” joy of blogging. Once we are stressful to blog, there is no fun/motivation. Last but not least, I believe in “not blogging to please anyone but myself”. Sounds tacky and self centered but isn’t that why we started blogging, right? Have a great week and happy blogging :o)
You look fab as usual. Have a great time in Chicago!
i really like this lipstick on you…you look amazing!! the orange scarf look so nice again the green dress….
What a beautiful scarf, it’s so bright and colorful and really makes your outfit. I’ve never packed that way, but it would be good for me to to try, I always take WAY too many shoes and purses!
love the way you wear this scarf!
mia
The scarf was a great last minute addition! It really looks fantastic with the green dress. Love the boots too! You have a pretty great collection of shoes :-)
The strangest thing about green is 1. how few people realize it looks great on many people and 2. how easy it is to match anything to it! What a gorgeous Scarf, Mr. S has fabulous taste…
Hey Wilderness Girl! LOL! That’s cute! Good call on army green being a staple color – I’ve seen it on you and it does look great!
Thank you Patience!
Thank you Inna! These brown boots have been such a deal when you look at cost per wear! These are my go to brown boots!
Hi Lili! Thanks! :o)
Oh girl! I am a messy and clumsy person, as much as I hate to admit it! I would loved to be called “Grace”, but I’m the opposite! And yay for recycling back in NOLA!! :o)
Jeannie!! Thank you – I had a great time in Chicago meeting Bessie and hanging with the hubby!
June!! Actually, I got a red lipstick because you said it looks nice the last time I wore it! Thanks! And I wasn’t sure about orange against green at first – but I like it!
I usually take way too many shoes and purses too! I was reading some fashion book about travel, and it said that you should take 3 shoes (max) on a weekend trip so I’ve been trying to follow that rule!!
Thank you mia lei! Thanks for stopping by my blog! :o)
Thanks H&K! Shoes (and purses) are what get me into trouble!! :op
So true about green and matching almost anything!! Thanks Bessie! I was ecstatic when Mr. S gave me the scarf!
what a great look, Sam! I love how your wear the H scarf and it goes so beautifully with your shirt dress.

Thanks Marlene! I think H scarves are so beautiful on their own. They add an instant pow when they’re added to an outfit!
Thank so much Bella Yazmin!! Will have to check out your blog too! :o)
