So when you have a chance for a Girls Night Out, you take it! Every. Single. Time. (I say that to Date Night also because they are few and far between!) Erin came up from San Antonio so it was a great excuse to get the gals together.
First, we headed to a Neiman Marcus luncheon hosted by Tanya, and the special guest was Prabal Gurung. Neiman Marcus always does it right. The jeweled tone tablescape was a nod to Prabal pieces on display, and the meal and dessert were absolutely divine. Prabal selected his favorite Spring pieces for a special fashion presentation. Let’s just say that I was watching with my mouth open. It was A M A Z I N G! He is so talented, sweet, and modest. I just want to eat him up! I can’t wait to see those pictures (so I can oohh and ahhh again), and I’ll post a short recap.
Later that night, we headed over to Savor in Klyde Warren Park. The food was delish, and the company was superb! Needless to say, we had an awesome time. There were a lot of laughs. Erin showed us how to use Periscope… We ended up having am impromptu catwalk for some peeps! It’s crazy. I can’t keep up with all of this new social media.
And what do bloggers do when they get together? Have a photo shoot of course! LOL!! Silly bloggers!
Basically, I didn’t have time to think when I was packing for Dallas so I brought the kitchen sink. This is a “repeat” outfit (last seen here – nothing wrong with oldies but goodies), and the chevron fur jacket was meant for a different outfit. Luckily for me, army green is a neutral and it all kind of matched! The sunglasses were also an “afterthought”. I brought 2 different bags, one for the luncheon and one for GNO, and forgotten my “regular” sunglasses. I purchased these Dior So Real dupes “just to try” and had them in my car.
There you have it!! An old outfit plus some new accessories made my GNO outfit!
THE STYLE Rx: Don’t be afraid to try something different. The fur jacket and mirrored sunglasses were a happy accident that took my outfit to the next level. The intentional part of my outfit was the layered necklaces which is easy to do. Ensure each necklace is 2″ different in length (14″, 16″ 18″) for a beautiful layers or go for some drama with a choker and pendant!
Happy Tuesday Friends. Hope you have a fantastic week!

[…] Sorry for the DEAD SILENCE recently! December has always been a busy month, but I got sick from Baby Girl and there was no reserve left. (Sorry if this is the second time you’re reading this since I sent it in my newsletter last week.) Anyhow, I’m SO excited to be back on the blog and sharing these gorgeous monogram jewelry pieces from ONECKLACE. You probably remember my name necklace from this ‘Girls Night Out’ post. […]
