Happy Wednesday Loves!!!  I am SO EXCITED about today’s FROM GRANDMA WITH LOVE post!  When my MIL pulled this dress out of Gma’s closet, I almost fell over!!  All I could see was waves of white pleats, but it was enough to make my heart skip a beat!

The dress needed some TLC, but a quick spot treatment of laundry detergent and wash got it back to looking new.  I want to do a post about caring for vintage items soon!  (I have so many blog post ideas but never enough time!)

This white pleated maxi dress is perfect for the summer.  The halter and low back show enough skin and it’s balanced by the long pleated maxi skirt.  Instead of heels, I went for these snake wrap gladiator sandals that I found at ShopSeptember for a more Grecian feel.  And I’ve gotten a lot of comments on Instagram about the parrot bird cage bag!  It was sitting by itself at Last Call waiting for me to take it home!  LOL!  P.S. I’m wearing those nippies again!  See, I told you they were awesome!

I kind of feel like a modern day Marilyn Monroe in this dress!  Where was the subway tunnel and wind when I needed it?! LOL!

The Style Rx:  A white maxi dress is an elegant way to look fresh for summer!  Find a dress with a “top” that suits you (halter, spaghetti strap, blouson, v-neck) and you’ll never want to take it off!
