Happy Wednesday lovely peoples! It’s time for another FROM GRANDMA WITH LOVE post. This is a beautiful dress and jacket set that was given to me in TWO colorways! The other set takes on an orange hue. I wore this to church last month with silver accessories to jazz it up and give it a modern take. Plus, the floral print is darker and needed something bright to “even it out”. Sometimes, pairing the unexpected will give you great results!

Thank you Mica! I really like this dress set too! The only problem is that I can’t get rid of the “vintage smell”! I haven’t tried febreze yet!
haha so funny after I was talking about my smelly blazer! I know the smell you mean! I have a couple vintage pieces and when I wash them they don’t smell bad but I’m sure it lingers and never really goes away, ha! Some days I can really smell it!
Yes, I’ve even tried washing with vinegar (but maybe I didn’t use enough)! I’ll have to do some more research on how the get rid of the smell!
I love this feature because the items are so chic, vintage and look like nothing on sale at the racks today (I mean that in a nice way! lol) This dress is gorgeous. I can see you mixing it so many ways :)

Might try hanging clothes in sunlight for a short period of time to see if it will kill the smell.
