Happy Friday Y’all!! I’m so glad it’s the weekend. My mom has been in town helping with the house, and she has completely organized my office! Hallelujah!! AND she helped me get our window treatments up!! Whoo hoo! It’s so great to have family in town AND see progress on the house. Hooray for moms!
This has to be one of my favorite outfits for the summer! I found the off the shoulder top and flare jeans at the TOOTSIES sale. I literally could not pass the jeans up (as if I don’t have enough jeans) after the store manager told me of the miracles it did with her derrière! I’d have to say that she was correct. Something about the stretch makes these pair “suck you in” a good way.
The top is purely fun with the flared flutter sleeves, but I had to be careful with the sheerness of the top. I’m wearing a padded bandeau bra with an extended lace bottom to cover A LOT! And how could you go wrong with fringe and flares? That fringe hobo is big enough that it’s actually useful AND has enough fringe to keep it fun!
The Style Rx: Wear an off the shoulder top with flares for a fun and 70s vibe. Go all the way by adding some fringe accessories!

That choker is beautiful!! It’s getting a little too cold in NYC to wear off the shoulder tops now so I’m super jealous of your outfit. The off the shoulder with the flare jeans really evokes that hippie ’70s vibe. Love.
