FIVE STEPS FOR A PRODUCTIVE AND FULFILLING NEW YEAR IN 2024

• Audit 2023: A Treasure Hunt! Let’s play detective and sift through 2023. What sparkled? What fizzled? Celebrate every win (big or small) and turn those oopsies into a-ha moments. Remember, every step, stumble, and leap has brought you here. 🕵️‍♀️🎉

Go through each month of your phone in pictures and your calendar to help you remember. What lit you up and what drained you? Consider what you want to take with you and leave for 2024. 

• Choose Your Intention Word for 2024: If 2024 were a word, what would it be? Adventure? Growth? Joy? Progress? Pick a word that resonates with your heart and let it be your guiding star for the year. Let’s make it powerful, meaningful, and very-you! 💫

My word is “Create”. It embodies not only creating content for the blog, Instagram, and YouTube but also creating the life and business of my dreams. I stopped doing New Year’s Resolutions a while back and have used Intention Words for the year. It’s easier to remember, and I’m less likely to “fail”. 

• Meet You 2.0: Imagine you’ve upgraded to version 2.0 – more dazzling, more daring. Every decision this year, ask yourself, “What would ‘You 2.0’ do?” It’s time to think bigger, bolder, and brighter. 🌟

Earlier in the newsletter this year, I told you how Sam 2.0 was born. I wrote a letter to Sam 2.0 that will be opened next year. The intent of the letter is to write about all the accomplishments and dreams that have come to fruition. They may not happen within the year, but the idea is to put yourself into the mindset of the Future You.  This idea of ‘You 2.0’ was born at the Build Your Brand Live event with Jen Gottlieb and Chris Winfield. I used to act as my higher self named “Supreme Sam” but I like the idea of Sam 2.0 better! 

• Dress for the Future You:  Your wardrobe is your silent introduction and your expression. Dress as the future you – the one who’s achieved all their dreams. Whether it’s a vintage gem, monochrome menagerie, or that pop of color, let your style tell your story. 🎩👗

• Create a ‘Joy’ List: Let’s sprinkle some fun and joy in the mix! Make a list of things that make you giggle, smile, or jump for joy. It could be anything from a delicious cup of coffee to a spontaneous road trip. In 2024, commit to doing more of what makes your heart sing. Remember, a happy you is unstoppable! 😄🎈

WHAT IS YOUR INTENTION WORD FOR 2024?

Happy New Year’s Eve GlamFam! We celebrated Mr. S’s birthday on the 29th with a big bash that happened to be my younger brother’s wedding!! That day was filled with LOVE and joy!!! Today, my younger brother is off to his honeymoon in Hawaii! I hope you had the most wonderful Christmas holiday if you celebrate! We are just enjoying family time together! Love you and always hope the best for you!!
