Hey y’all!  I’m really excited to share another series that I’m starting called Everyday Rx!  Basically, I tell you about my faves that I use everyday. Get it? Yes, I know you do.  I just like to be clever with my pharmacy lingo.  This week, I share my favorite pink lipsticks.  If you took a peek inside my makeup bag, you’d see that I have about a million shades of pink. Okay, exaggerating a little, but I do have a lot!

PINK is my “red” lipstick.  I LOVE the glamorous look of red lips, but Mr. S isn’t a fan.  And sometimes it can look a little harsh on me!  Remember what this Chanel guru said about pink?!  All the more reason to wear it!

Beauty Rx:  Wear Pink!  In case you missed this post…Pink is a very calming color.  Studies have shown that pink lowers the heart rate and can calm a person {which is why some prisons have their holding cells in pink}!  The color is perfect if you have to meet a new group of people!

After my little one was born, I started looking for more natural beauty products.  Since I was in such close contact with him, my makeup would rub off on his face.  He became a little glitter baby!  At the time, I was trying Le Metier Peau Vierge which has a small amount of retinol in it and some iridescence.  I didn’t want retinol on my baby, so I decided to start switching my makeup to natural products.  All of that to say that I’m not 100% natural yet but getting there.  So I’ll let you know some of my favorite natural AND regular pink lipsticks.

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek //  I have them in Modest and Smile.  Now, you KNOW I love anything that multi-tasks. So this is a great natural option that I carry in my purse. {I still want to try the YSL ‘Baby Doll’ Kiss and Blush but I have too much makeup right now.}

Jane Iredale //  Another natural option. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her lip glosses.  They have a berry flavor.  I also tried her lip fixations which are supposed to be a long lasting stain + gloss.  The first thing that I noticed about the lip stain was that it did NOT have that awful chemical smell and drying feeling.  However, that being said, it doesn’t really last as long as conventional stains but I still like them for the color.

Chanel //  Oh Chanel, do I need to say more.  The look above is a combination of lip liner, lipstick, and lip gloss.  I really love this shade combination and the gloss gives it the perfect amount of shine.  I seriously have way too many Chanel lipsticks, glosses, and liners.

Last, but not least is Tom Ford //  After I tried one Tom Ford lipstick, I became seriously addicted.  The pigment is AMAZING the formula is so creamy.  I LOVE them.  When I really want to make an impact, I wear this color.  It’s BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT.
