It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re styling a CHIC sweatshirt!

Fun Fact: The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines CHIC as a distinctive mode of dress or manner associated with a fashionable lifestyle, ideology, or pursuit. I didn’t realize it pertained to lifestyle or ideology. Did you? When I saw this sweatshirt, I texted the gals. It was SO chic and SO fun! Every gal needs a “chic” graphic sweatshirt! Am I right?!
The fabulous thing about this sweatshirt is that it can be dressy or casual. For Y’all, I decided to dress it up in all black with high-rise skinny jeans and heels. These jeans are so comfy, slimming, and just the right length for a shortie like me. I wear them a lot which is apparent by the large kneehole that keeps growing when I’m with the kids! Those heels were a sale find at TOOTSIES recently. Saint Laurent heels on clearance?! Yes, please! And what would a sweatshirt be without hoops earrings?! I am ALL OVER that 90s trend today! LOL!
Anyhow, I’ve worn this graphic sweatshirt so many times already – mostly to kid drop-off and pick-up. I included a picture that Cathy snapped of me before we started shooting below. That’s how I wear it most days – skinny jeans and comfy slides! #easybreezy
THE STYLE Rx: You can still be CHIC in a sweatshirt!
And don’t the gals look FAB.U.LOUS??!! I love how Cathy layered a leopard button up under it and wore it with white jeans. It’s so fresh! Heather always finds the best jeans and wore white heels which I LOVE for Spring! Natalie is looking relaxed and cool in girlfriend jeans with pops of red on her lips and booties.
FIT DETAILS: It IS more of a cropped sweatshirt, and I’m wearing size small. The rag & bone jeans in that cut ran small, and I went up to size 27. Those Saint Laurent heels run TTS and wearing my size 39.

Happy Friday Loves! We’re excited for the weekend! We don’t have much planned which is great because next week and weekend are going to be CRAZY! It’s like the calm before the storm. At least the sun is shining so the kids can get outside to play. What are y’all up to this weekend?

Oh that is such a fun top! :) I don’t wear graphic pieces like this as much as I used to adn it’s a such as they look great! I love yours in your monochrome outfit, and you know i like black and gold together :)

Thanks Mica! I’ve always loved graphic pieces but haven’t worn mine recently! I am trying to wear them more under blazers for a casual dressy look. I also saw a graphic tee paired with a sequin skirt once, and I LOVED that!
