It’s that time again… CHIC AT EVERY AGE. This week, we’re doing a style challenge where each piece has to be less than $100!
For those of you that have just tuned in, this fab collab is exactly how it sounds… a chic chick in her 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s shows you how to style a piece in their own way. I’m working with some of my FAVORITE gals in Dallas!!

The 30-something // ME!
The 40-something // Heather of So Heather
The 50-something // Cathy of The Middle Page

For me, this style challenge was easy peasy! However, I thought it would defeat the purpose of the challenge if my WHOLE OUTFIT was from Target (although that does happen in my real #momlife). So, I made an effort to put together a fun casual non-Tarjay outfit! LOL!
Everything was in my closet except for the top, and isn’t it FUN?! I’m still obsessed with statement tops. Since this one-shoulder top is perfect for Spring, I paired it with bright accessories like the pink pumps, white drop earrings, and a colorful clutch.
This top would transition well for Summer as well with white jeans (or denim shorts), gold sandals, and a straw bag. Also, I recently read a little tip about layering Spring pieces over a bodysuit to wear them now (in the cold).
THE STYLE Rx: You don’t have to splurge to look AND feel great. There are tons of chic finds under $100. My favorite places for reasonable finds are Nordstrom (they are having their 40% off Winter sale!), Target, Beehive, and consignment boutiques (like Clothes Circuit).
Don’t the gals look fabulous? (Natalie and I had the same moto jacket [currently on sale for $59.90], but I took it off for the pictures.) It was really chilly the day we shot. It HAD been warm prior so I was ready for lots of sunshine. (#CrazyTexasWeather) I’m the odd man out because I wore Spring colors and everyone else is in shades of grey and black. Oh well, that’s the fun part of our meet up! It’s always a surprise to see what the gals are wearing! Hop on over to their blogs to check out their outfit details.
If you want to see us style a specific piece or another challenge, then please let me know in the comments!!
Happy Friday Friends!! I’m headed to Scottsdale, AZ, for a girls weekend. My friend is turning 40 and organized a fabulous trip WITH itinerary! I WISH I was that organized. Honestly, I’m feeling guilty about leaving again, but I am SO PSYCHED about uninterrupted sleep!! I hope to be back in time for Little M’s soccer class on Sunday afternoon. Happy Weekend Y’all!!

Love your colourful spring-like outfit Sam, that clutch is the best! So nice with all the blue.
A girls weekend sounds wonderful, enjoy it! :) It’s hard being away when your babies are little but it’s good to get some time to yourself now and then. And yes, to get some uninterrupted sleep! :)
