HOW TO WEAR THE SHEER TREND
Hello, GlamFam! Is there a fun Summer trend you’ve been wanting to try before these gorgeous sunny days are gone?! Well today, Chic at Every Age is sharing a great one: How to wear the sheer trend! This trend started a couple of years ago and it’s still going strong in 2023! We love this trend because it can be sultry and feminine but you can also totally customize it to your comfort level. In other words, you don’t need to wear something completely sheer to participate in the trend. A sheer top over a cute camisole is a great way to try out this fun fashion while also keeping yourself comfortable and covered. This style of shirts and dresses is perfect for elevating a date night outfit or you can even toss them over a swimsuit for a chic summer coverup!
The shirt we’re styling today is the Sunday in Brooklyn Rhinestone Mesh Top. We absolutely love this incredible top and it’s the perfect example of how you can wear the sheer trend in a work-appropriate way! The mesh top is covered in tiny little rhinestones that reflect the light beautifully and give this shirt the ideal amount of shimmer. I especially love that the material is stretchy and comfortable and that it comes with a detachable cami underneath! You can easily pair this top with a cute pair of jeans and heels for a date night or even for a concert!
This top is a definite Summer must-have but you can easily wear it all year round! Not only is it super versatile but it’s also so much fun to style! I decided to wear mine as a chic monochrome neutral look and styled my top with a timeless Laude the Label cream blazer and matching tapered trouser pant. I added a classic Chanel crossbody bag and natural Cult Gaia heels for an elegant touch. Then for jewelry, I glammed it up with some layered gold necklaces, stacked rings, hoop earrings, and of course, some Budha Girl bangles!

Now let’s take a look at the girl’s outfits!
Heather styled her top with a super cute pair of white flare-leg jeans that I absolutely adore. For accessories, she went with an elegant gold theme with a gold Chanel crossbody bag, gold heels, and a cute gold chain link belt that ties the whole outfit together perfectly. She chose some stunning layered gold necklaces, stacked rings, and chic gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses for accessories!
Next, Cathy styled her sparkly sheer top with a pair of stylish denim jeans that feature detailed stitching which matches the top flawlessly! She added a neutral shoulder bag and some amazing leopard print heels that are super cute. Then, for accessories, she added some elegant bangles, a chic watch, some cute rings, and some classic sunglasses. A great example of how to wear this shirt for a casual day!
Finally, Natalie styled her glamorous top with a pair of light-wash ripped denim jeans which are super casual and chic. Plus, she added a sleek white handbag and a pair of neutral quilted heels for a sleek touch. Then, to complete the outfit, she accessorized with gold hoop earrings, cute beaded bracelets, layered gold necklaces, and some super cute sunglasses! I love how she styled her outfit and could definitely see myself wearing this on a brunch date with the gals!

Happy Friday GlamFam! I can’t believe there is only one week until school starts. I’m happy and sad at the same time. It’s nice to have a structure to the day, but we’ve had so much fun this Summer. The kids’ school is very demanding, and I feel like it drives me to be a drill sergeant to stay on task and be able to get everything done in a day. I become the “not fun” parent during the school year. This year, I’m going to try some different strategies and see how that goes.
We are having a small belated birthday party for my oldest now that we are back in town and having family over after. Next week, we have “Meet the Teacher” night too! The Summer has gone by too quickly! Until the next post!
