It’s that time again…The cabi Fall Collection dropped and I’m in love!! Additionally, I’m honored to be a cabi Ambassador this season, so I am showing off my favorite pieces from this season. It should be no surprise that some of my picks include the power suit and the pink fluffy embrace topper! LOL! This collection was inspired by positivity, joy, and freedom associated with travel and the thought of entering back into the world. The colors are rich and saturated – regal rose, oxblood red, and transformative teal. I cannot wait to show you some cabi outfit ideas from the Fall 2021 collection!
CABI OUTFIT IDEAS – FALL 2021
MAD FOR PLAID
Can you get enough of this jazzy jacket and kick flare pants? Together it makes a perfect power suit. Separately, each piece is bold enough to stand on its own. My FAVORITE way to wear a power suit is belted. Remember this Bond Blazer suit that I belted!! YES to all the wonderful suits and separates that cabi creates every year!
With this fabulous plaid and the red tones of the jazzy pants, I decided to go with a burgundy/wine accessories for a fun Fall look. Additionally, you can change the neckline of the jazzy jacket by belting it and leaving it open to form a v-neck. Or pop the collar for a completely different look. That’s the beauty of these cabi pieces – they are so versatile!
For those cooler Fall days, the Heritage Coat will be your new best friend. With its classic color and silhouette, the Heritage Coat literally goes with EVERYTHING!!! I ordered a size up so that I can wear it with bulky sweaters. (FYI, it would probably still work with bulky sweaters in my usual size.) Plus, I love the vegan leather accents on the pockets and back collar. So chic!
ANIMAL PRINT IS ALWAYS IN STYLE
You know what they say about animal print right? It’s a neutral, and I totally agree with this statement! When I saw the Selma dress, it was a no brainer! This is an easy, comfortable, and stunning dress! To dress it up, I added a skinny belt, heels, and the ring earrings. I can’t believe how dressy it looks but feels like you’re wearing pajamas!
STYLE TIP: Place a safety pin on the side of the adjustable ruching to make the hem a little shorter. This works for me since I’m 5’4″.
Also, the Selma dress matches perfectly with the Heritage Coat. As I said, this coat will be worn all season long!
THE STYLE Rx: Find a power player in your wardrobe that you can wear all season! My power players are elevated basics like the busy tank, patch pocket jeans, and heritage coat.
DRESS OR CARDIGAN – YOU DECIDE!
Everyone loves a long cozy cardigan! When you can also wear the Book Club cardigan as a dress, it’s DOUBLE the love! Here I styled the cardigan as a dress and cinched it with the Serpent belt. I paired it with white/cream accessories for a sophisticated winter white look. I’ve also worn the Book Club Cardigan over a cream chemise (in this IG post) which was so cozy to wear at home too!
Again, the perfect topper for this outfit was the Heritage Coat! It’s so simple, chic, and elegant.
FLOWERS FOR FALL?!
Flowers for Spring? Groundbreaking. Flowers for Fall? That’s FABULOUS, especially when you have these gorgeous colors like regal rose and oxblood red combined. Pink and red and one of my favorite combinations, and these rich hues create such stunning pieces for the Corsage Blouse and Corsage Skirt. Who doesn’t love to add a bit of color in the Fall? When worn together, it looks like a dress!
The Corsage Blouse is absolutely stunning on its own with details like bishop sleeves and a ruffle neckline. Plus it is smocked at the waistline creating a great slimming effect. The Corsage maxi skirt has a slight high low hem with a trumpet flare. It would be beautiful with a simple white tee or the busy tank too!
BACK TO BASICS
We all need good basics in our lives, and cabi makes the best basics. Here, I’m wearing the Busy Tank, Patch Pocket jeans, and Heritage Coat. Did you know that the busy tank can be worn FOUR different ways? YES, it’s true! 1) As shown with the v-neck in front 2) backwards with the square neck in front 3) as a criss-cross halter top 4) as a one shoulder tank. The rib knit material is stretchy, but not too tight, and makes it so versatile.
Can we just take a minute for the Patch Pocket Jeans? I’m ALL ABOUT a great pair of flare jeans, and this has a perfect nod to the 70s without being too much! I’ve been wearing these non-stop because they are so stylish and COMFORTABLE!!
And I’ve gone on and on about the Heritage Coat, but it’s that good. It is a piece that you will be wearing with everything!

I cannot say enough positive things about cabi! From their mission, Heart of cabi, to the gorgeous clothes, I am SUCH A FAN!! Happy Tuesday GlamFam!! We are trying to get back into the swing of things over here since taking a little trip to San Antonio for Fall Break last week. Last night, Franklin (the dog) woke me up 3x, then Little M woke up because he had a nightmare, and Baby M woke up bc her leg hurt. Needless to say, we were all VERY TIRE this morning! Also, we have home renovations going on this week. It’s not necessarily the fun kind – it’s repairs from the Snowmaggedon and our water heater leaking into the wall causing mold. However, we will have a mold free bathroom soon which is very exciting!!! Until the next post!
