Hello Friends! Today is the launch of the CABI New Arrivals, and I’m excited to share a few of my faves with y’all! The theme goes along with their Spring collection – pops of colors and lots of prints!

​​​​​​​Another reason that I’m so HAPPY in these pictures is that I’m a CABI Ambassador!! What that means is that I get to access to certain pieces beforehand so I can give YOU the scoop as soon as they launch! I’ve been dying to share these New Arrivals pieces with you – the yellow animal print sunny set and striped launch dress.

CABI SUNNY SET //

The bright yellow set is ON TREND for the season, and I love that it’s a two piece. It always makes me feel like you get more for your money when a piece can be worn in multiple ways.

I am not wearing this top as probably intended, but the empire cut (when tied) didn’t flatter me as well so I tied it in the back loosely and it falls more like a cardigan! I love that one piece can be worn as a tank under a blazer or sweater. It was so fun to play with, and I’m showing you three total looks for this yellow spotted number!

First up is what I call “Vacay Mode” (as seen above)! This cheerful yellow makes me so happy and it great with white jeans (high straight from past season) and the Parker wedges! I accessorized with a brown belt (safari belt would be a hit), oversized straw bag, and white summer fedora!!!

Second is my “Work Mode”. I wear CABI A LOT to work because it looks so chic and on point, but I am super comfortable! The top is yellow with black and navy spots so you literally can wear it with any color. I’m wearing it with the Navy Chance Wide Leg pants with the cami tucked in and the cardigan left out.

Last is my “Pattern Mixing” outfit. The base is the top and white jeans again, but I threw a striped cardigan over it! (It’s also past season, but the Exhale cardigan would be fabulous with it!) This would be great for running errands.

THE STYLE Rx (aka Lazy Girl Glam tip):

Find a good foundation (like jeans and a tee or a white blouse and slacks) and you’ll be able to throw any jacket over for an easy but chic outfit. 

CABI LAUNCH DRESS //

Next up is the Launch dress. I really had a hard time deciding between this one and the Disco wrap dress. I decided on this one because it’s soft, stretchy, comfy, casual, and can be dressed up! Do y’all remember that pink and red maxi from CABI way BACK when?! Well, I literally wore that dress TO DEATH, and this seemed like the striped version!

This dress is just perfect on its own, but I decided to be playful with the styling on the dress and do stripes on stripes! Can you tell what’s on my mind?! I want to go BACK on vacation!

​​​​​​​The navy and white stripes give off a nautical vibe, and I’m relaxing “waterside” at one of my favorite places in Fort Worth – the Modern Museum of Art. I wore it with the Cha Cha earrings, wide brim hat, Flaunt scarf tied to my bag, and white espadrille sandals.

STYLE TIP: Play with proportions when wearing pattern on pattern. Notice one set of stripes is thin and one set is wider!

The high-low hem and wrap front bodice make it ultra flattering even though it feels like you’re wearing pajamas. I also wanted to show you how I wore it with a long cardigan. It would be so cute pair with the mesh hoodie or Expedition jacket (belted) from this season!

It’s Hump Day Fabulous Friends! Heading to Putting on the Pink with my beautiful friend Katherine, and I’m excited to be there and support such a wonderful event. We’ve got a doctor’s appointment for Little M – his ear has been giving him trouble again. We’re almost to the weekend, but Mr. S will be gone so it will be chaos with me and the Littles!
