I’m not going to lie. Β It’s very easy for me to wear black-on-black. Β My brother-in-laws used to call me “The Black Widow” after Jeanette Lee, the famous billiard player. Β After that, I quickly added LOTS of color to my wardrobe, but it’s easy for me to go back to my ways! Β When I received this neoprene top from French Connection, I tried it with skinny jeans, another skirt, etc. but I LOVED it with a cute BLACKΒ skirt! Β {Seriously, SOMEONE has to get this failleΒ bell skirtΒ I found at Last Call!}
The Style Rx: Β Wearing black on black is a cinch. Β Vary the monochromatic look withΒ different textures like leather, lace, and cotton. Β {I’m wearing neoprene and faille.}
Next up… see how I wore the same top and skirt tucked!
Rxoxo, sam
I love this all black look! So beautiful and chic!

Thank you Christina!! And loving your PERFECT PAIR!! So cute!!
Great post, if you’re into the scuba looks, I wonder if you will get in on the A Wang for H&M action. :)
Anyway, I have yet to see a bag like this IRL. When I recently saw the new Louboutin polish with the skinny wand for under your nail, I thought of your bag <3

Thank you!! Yes, I love the red interior of the bag – makes it so unique! And I was WONDERING why the Louboutin wands were so tall and skinny!! Thanks for clarifying that! LOL!!!
I will probably pass on Alexander Wang x H&M even though I usually love all of his looks! I’m sort of “maxed” on my fashion diet for 5 pieces!!!
I’m almost positive I’ve said this before, but I really like that top! :) It’s pretty :)
It’s so nice paired with the skirt here too Sam, lovely layering, almost looks like a cute little drop waist dress! :)

Good point Mica!! It does look like a dropped waist dress!! Even more reason for me to try one in the future! Yours is so cute!
You can never go wrong with the all black look, especially if you add a little embelishments or some gorgeous heels like you did! :) Love the look!
