It’s been way TOO LONG since my last From Grandma with Love post, and I’ve worn this black jumpsuit and statement sleeve blouse so many times already! I have photographed a couple of outfits recently and can’t wait to share with y’all!
For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a monthly series that is one of my faves! (It used to be weekly, but I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things.) I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe. She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!

This jumpsuit is SO FUN because of the unique deep neckline. It’s perfect for showing off whatever top you are wearing under it! I’ve worn this jumpsuit with an off-the-shoulder top and pearl/velvet ribbon choker for a sassy look at a fun GNO event (seen here on Facebook). It’s a classic and modern look because it involves my favorite, black and white!
Don’t even get me started on that amazing balloon sleeve top. I have it in lavender too (last seen here). Dramatic statement sleeves have always been a favorite of mine, and NOW they are trendy and back in style! Hooray!
THE STYLE Rx: Try a deep neckline jumpsuit for a different take on the one-piece. Or try suspender pants for the same idea. It’s about showing off your top, and it’s the perfect time to wear that statement sleeve top!
To keep it modern, I added a velvet choker and fun accessories like the floral embellished sunglasses, cap-toe slingback heels, and monogram ring. The cap-toe heels are so versatile because they go with everything. Hello perfect neutral shoe! I found a modern look-for-less for $125.
It was literally FREEZING! So, I had on a faux fur hooded coat, one of Grandma’s jackets. It’s funny because Angie had to borrow it when I wasn’t using it! YAY for warm jackets!
