The first time I saw an Erin Condren planner was at RCIA class (when we were converting to Catholicism) a couple of years back. My friends, Nancy and Caroline, had these AMAZING organizer with lots of fun stickers and fancy pens. Um, if that was what it took to get organized, then I was all IN!
I was lucky to be sent an Erin Condren Lifeplanner of my choice for review, so I’m sharing the fun new details with you!
COVER OPTIONS //
There is a whole new selection of beautiful interchangeable (which is what I chose) and LUXE covers. Most of the interchangeable covers can be personalized with your name or initials. The LUXE covers are a leather-like cover in 3 colors (taupe, sapphire, and black) which you can personalize with three initials. Basically, there is something for everyone!
WEEKLY PAGE LAYOUT //
There are three different options for the weekly pages – vertical, horizontal (which I chose), and hourly. My last lifeplanner had the hourly page layout, but I feel like that isn’t as applicable to my life now as it was in college! I tried it to see if the hourly would help me manage my time better. When everything went as planned per hour, it was great! However, there are usually hiccups and delays in my day, so I wasn’t always able to stick to the plan. THAT drives the Type A part of me crazy, so I the horizontal layout will allow me to give myself some grace.
CALENDAR OPTIONS //
Again, there are three options, the 18 months (July 2017-Dec 2018) or 12 months (July 2017-June 2018 or Jan 2018-Dec 2018). I went with the 18-month option and can’t wait until July to start using the horizontal layout.
COLOR THEME //
You can choose between colorful and neutral for the actual calendar pages and dividers. It’s the difference between lots of cheerful colors or monochromatic shades of black and grey. Although I tend towards a neutral palette in my house, I LOVE happy colors for my lifeplanner!
COIL OPTION //
The finishing piece is the coil which comes standard in platinum (silver). You can upgrade to gold, rose gold, or black for an additional charge. I’ve been OBSESSED with rose gold recently so you can guess my choice
UPDATED FEATURES //
The front inside planner cover has a lined dry erase board and the back inside planner cover has a blank dry erase board.
Each Lifeplanner contains a Plan For It Pouch which has a happy surprise of 3 complement cards, 4 gift labels, 2 friends and family discount card, and a 6 inch coil clip so you can move it or use it separately.
And Voila! Your Lifeplanner is complete! Next, comes all of the fun parts…. the ACCESSORIES!
I’m obsessed with the PLANNY PACK! It’s a fanny pack for your Lifeplanner and will store all of your markers in the zipper compartment and compliment cards in the back flap. The best part is the elastic which allows you to slide it onto your cover so you always have everything that you need!
Can we say STICKERS?!?!? The Classic Edition 3 Sticker book, “Turn Your Dreams Into Plans”, is full of foiled designer stickers. What a fun way to bling out your calendar! And those are the PRETTIEST sticky notes I’ve ever seen! I love that they’re on a snap-in card so you can move them to whereever you’ll need them.
I also love the snap-in TO-DO LIST! LOL! I put “Get Organized” on mine because that’s ALWAYS on my list of things! I actually use it as a bookmark on the week that I’m on and have my running to-do list on it.
All of the inspirational quotes are the best, and each month divider has a nicely lettered quote to start the month! Another way to find inspiration are the COMPLIMENT CARDS which are so fabulous! What a wonderful way to brighten someone’s day. They are perfect to put in your loved one’s lunch box or to cheer up a friend or random stranger!
Another new accessory is the MINI STICKY STORAGE POCKETS. They will turn any page into a folder! It’s perfect for those random little things like stamps, receipts, or business cards.
QUICK REVIEW //
Compared to my previous Lifeplanner, I love this new rose gold theme and very excited to use the horizontal layout! The actual calendar portions and dividers are pretty much the same. There’s nothing wrong with that – it’s very usable. I LOVE the idea of the dry erase boards on the inside of the covers, but I don’t know how much I will use them since the snap-in To-Do List is where I use the dry erase markers most (for running lists).
The Planny Pack is a must have! I’ve had all of my markers in their separate containers “near” my planner, but this is the perfect system to keep everything together! And the new markers are dual tipped for fine lines or drawing. That’s a fun new twist.
BTW, I did a quick iPhone video because sometimes you get more out of a video than still pictures. I am NOT a fancy YouTuber so forgive the simple and rudimentary video.
How do YOU keep yourself organized? And have you heard of Erin Condren?!
Happy Tuesday Friends! This post was meant for yesterday, but the littles foiled my plans! (I can’t really blame the littles except for the lack of sleep!) Anyhow, Baby Girl will be seeing the ENT soon with Little M. She seems destined for tubes which will hopefully help the poor babe. Hope y’all are having a great week!
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!

You’re welcome Cathy! I love it and can bring it to show you next time we see each other!
I don’t know anyone who would love this planner after paying upwards of $65 for it. Every additional upgrade is a hefty fee and the planner is just made of a cheaply laminated cover and lightweight paper. If you got all these items for free, then it is probably a lot easier recommending it than if you would have actually paid for everything.
[…] Every year, I try new ways to get organized, and I finally got a smartwatch last year! Hallelujah to technology that helps your life be better! For my daily routine, I’m never opposed to the regular pen and paper organizer. Here’s my review of the Erin Condren Lifeplanner. […]
