I can’t believe Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK! I’m excited to show y’all another find from the #NSale that I finally wore to church last month when it was slightly chilly. Hey, I’ll take anything under the 70s to wear Fall/Winter items! It was great for church and would be perfect for Thanksgiving!

When I saw this leopard print turtleneck dress at Clothes Circuit, how could I pass it up?! 1) LEOPARD is a neutral 2) It’s a dress {lazy girl’s way to look fab} 3) It’s Dolce and 4) I can’t remember exactly but it was less than $150!
When you wear it on its own, it’s pretty IN YOUR FACE LEOPARD!! I love it, but some may feel it’s a little much. Enter the sleeveless jacket, aka the vest. Every season, fashion people rename things… like the vest called a sleeveless jacket! I guess it makes it fresh! Anyhow, I digress. The vest is a perfect topper to keep you warm and take away the KAPOW of an all leopard dress.
THE STYLE Rx: First, you need a leopard piece in your wardrobe! I LOVE this dress, but you can start small with flats, a scarf, or a clutch if you feel timid. THE SECRET is to keep everything else somewhat neutral for a classic look.
Then, you need a vest for a great transition piece. Wear it over dresses (as I have done above and here), cinch it with a belt (as done here), or pair it with jeans (as done here). You’ll be surprised at how versatile a “sleeveless jacket” can be in your wardrobe arsenal.
Plus, you can wear a vest over jeans, a white tee, and booties to elevate your look! AND it will definitely camouflage a food belly if you wear it to Thanksgiving.
If you are starting small with a leopard accessory, then pair it with a true neutral like a black dress or white top and jeans. Soon, you’ll love it and want to go BIG like a dress or jacket!
Originally, I had a Thanksgiving Table Setting post planned. That went out the door when the littles were requiring more time and attention (doctors appointments, teething, stuffy noses). As my friend says, “Mom plans derailed by kids – typical!” Hope y’all are having a fabulous week so far!

That is a stunning dress and the vest is perfect with it! Great outfit for church :)
Sorry to hear your kids have been sick – it’s so much harder with two as they seem to ‘share the love’ easier, haha! Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious!

LOL about ‘share the love’!!! It’s so true… and things keep passing among the family!! Mr. S calls Baby Girl the “inoculator” bc she is chewing on her fingers (teething) and then tries to put her hands in our mouths!!! LOL!
And thanks!! It got a little warm in church but was easy to take off the vest!
I love the look! The leopard dress is so chic. Obsessed with your handbag too!
