Just beautiful, what a woman she must have been.
LOVE the outfit! The capelet really makes the outfit so retro chic! Your husband’s grandma must have been quite the fashionista :)
Love the shape of your sunglasses!

That dress is amazing – perfect with the capelet too and you’ve accessorised it so well! What a bargain with the gloves :)

I think these pictures look so pretty and editorial, I was totally taken back in time with this shoot. What a pretty, lady-like look.

Such ladylike grace. You look just like you walked off the set of Madmen….
so chic! I love this look!
cute post and this outfit is tres chic!
Such a wonderful look so chic and retro and fits you like a glove! LOVE it. How do you avoid dark contrasting shadows when shooting in sunlight, do you use an external flash for fill?

Hi Ali!! Sorry it took so long for me to reply. We usually take pictures on the weekends when we have time so sometimes harsh light is unavoidable. I try to “soften” the pictures using some of the levels, curves, and filters in Photoshop! In levels, I adjust the middle button to left, and the left output button to the right. Hope that helps!
Perfection.
Beautiful!

You look so cute in the dress – I’d love to see it without the cape – perhaps in the summer when we aren’t all freezing!
Chic on the Cheap
