For those of you that just tuned in, From Grandma with Love is a weekly series (now more like every two to four weeks) that is one of my faves! I’m lucky to be the recipient of my Grandmother-in-law’s beautiful wardrobe.  She owned so many unique pieces, and I’ve had the MOST FABULOUS time styling it on the blog. It’s a win-win for me because I ADORE vintage and a fun excuse to wear it!

I was ALL OVER this jumpsuit, even with the major shoulder pads. My MIL let me and my SIL have a “Grandma shopping day” at her house. Since I’ve been getting so many pieces, I let me SIL choose everything she wanted first. Lucky for me, she wasn’t feeling this piece so it came home with me! {Insert teeth showing smile emoji here!}

Honestly, I’ve been wearing this a little TOO MUCH after surgical removal of the ginormous fluffy 80s shoulder pads. It is SO COMFY, and I look like I made an effort to get dressed even if I didn’t. Mr. S, not realizing this was vintage, told me that I looked like his Grandma before he knew it belonged to her! #grandmavibesallday. Anyhow, I’ve worn this to a few different events including my makeover with Kirsten Kjaer Weis during her Dallas visit. Watch out for a post later this week!

THE STYLE Rx: Here are three reasons you need a denim jumpsuit! 1) You feel like you’re in pajamas, but they are considered “real clothes”. 2) Jeans are considered a neutral, so they match EVERYTHING! 3) You can wear this all-year-long. 4) Bonus for mommies or messies {I’m BOTH!}, a denim jumpsuit is WASHABLE!

You can achieve the look by wearing a denim top and pants in the same rinse if you want to “test out” the idea first. Once you have one, I can’t promise that you’ll ever take it off. Fair warning!
