Happy Tuesday Y’all! Hope you had a nice long weekend for those that celebrated Labor Day. We spent part of last week through Sunday in Vegas to celebrate our cousin getting married! Vegas is always fun, but the experience is different when you’ve got a two year old in tow! Know what I mean, Vern?!
I’m not sure if it’s due to my quest to find the perfect white outfit for Diner en Blanc or this summer heat, but I’ve really been drawn to white in my wardrobe lately. And when these perfectly cute lace up flats arrived, I racked my brain to come up with multiple casual outfit ideas. {Um, don’t you style your outfit around a pair of shoes?!}
The classic black and white equation won! I threw on a white tee and skinny jeans. The black flats and structured bag keep the outfit fresh. Plus, all wardrobe rules seem to be thrown out the window and it’s no longer a faux paus to wear white after Labor Day.
The Style Rx: Wear white after Labor Day! Even Vogue says to do it! Ivory or cream will also do the trick. Remember that different textures make monochrome dressing interesting, and black is always a perfect accent color.

Why do not use white all year long? I don’t understand this. White is just one more color. Because of my work I’d wear white all year long during decades. And it’s beautiful.

Growing up in Borneo, there were never any rules about wearing White post Labour Day so when I moved to the States, that mentality stayed with me, particularly when sporting a Summer tan :) that Toggery tee is delicious, Sam, so too the LV cuff. Deliciously divine xoxo
