Happy Wednesday Loves! These From Grandma with Love posts are always so fun for me!
Can you believe that top and belt are vintage? Today, I’m wearing a VERY graphic black and white top paired with a woven sash (from Guatamala) worn as an Obi belt. I don’t know if they were meant to go together, but the pattern mixing was too fun to resist!
Since there is so much going on with the top, I wore a simple black skirt, black bag, lace up flats, and of course GOLD accessories. {Speaking of gold, I just purchased a ban.do 17-month 2016 agenda that is way too cute and covered in gold… my kind of organizing! *wink wink*}
We are headed out of town to Washington DC tomorrow (tagging along with Mr. S for a work trip)! I’ve always wanted to go so I am BEYOND excited AND my BFF (from first grade) lives there so we are going to have a blast (in 3 hours periods because Little M is traveling along too)! I am deliriously tired and should be packing/sleeping but I’m working on the blog instead! Hope y’all are having the most fabulous week!

Thank you so much Liv! It’s kind of a quirky top!
Love that printed top, and the belt is just perfect with it. Both are really nice printed pieces on their own, but they work so well together too, you’ve styled them well Sam! :)
I hope you all have a fantastic trip – and you manage to get the packing done and still get some sleep! :)

Thanks Mica! We landed on time but then got stuck on the runway for 2 hours because of storms. Then we still had to get dinner! But it’s been fun so far… seen quite a few of the monuments and memorials with my BFF!
And thank you for the compliment on the styling too!
