Summer is here and it’s the swimsuit season! Β Weβre showing you how to style an open poncho as a beach coverup. Β It’s lightweight and flowy, but substantial enough to cover your whole body.
It’sΒ hilarious because we all showed up with hats, and Heather and I both wore cut off shorts! Β I guess there’s only so much you can do with beach and swim attire. Β Cathy is so casual chic in her navy tank, white linen pants, and that fabulous summer fedora. Β Heather always manages to look gorgeous, and I’m loving her white scalloped bikini and straw bag. Β I decided to accessorize with bright earrings, a super bright backpack, and gold sandals (what else!).
Heather told me that she’s worn the poncho over a white tank and flare jeans. Β I’ve already copied her, and it’s a cute outfit!
That happy yellow backpack is a TOMS backpack. Β Just an FYI, for everyΒ TOMS backpack purchased, a safe birth kit will be provided to a mother and baby in need. Β TOMS is awesome – that’s all I have to say. Β One for One.
By the way, these pics were taken before I chopped off my hair. Β I’m not going to lie… kinda missing my long locks when I see these pictures! Β Anyhow, what do you think of the ponchos? Β Would you use one as a beach coverup?

A poncho as a beach cover-up is a great idea! :) Nice to see how you all styled it slightly differently, and I agree the poncho would look great with jeans! :)
