Happy Monday Loves!  Hope everyone stayed warm and safe over the weekend!  I ventured out on Saturday to get to the Neiman Marcus #ProjectBeauty fashion show, and ended up leaving with a new lipstick, cologne for the mister, and a beautiful Spring dress!  Now on my wish list are this gorgeous green suede dress and cream leather jacket.  Why did the SA have to bring those in my room?! BTW, sorry it my blog posts were pretty sparse (aka non-existent) while we were on vacation.  I’m not sure why I thought that I could blog at night with all of the craziness of a wedding and Disney World going on.  AND… on our flight back home, Little M got sick and had projectile vomit multiple times.  Needless to say, we were ALL fried by the time we got home and nothing got done AGAIN!  I’m glad things are starting to melt because the little one and Mr. S are going stir crazy!

Anywho, this is an outfit I wore for some meetings while it was chilly but before it got snowy/icy.  I love the combination of black and blue, even though it sounds unappealing.  Apparently, this color combo was a good choice for a meeting because dark blue represents knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness.  And black denotes strength and authority.  Who knew?!  I was looking for a good excuse to wear the leather skirt and OTK boots {too lazy to shave}!

The Style Rx:  Break the rules!!  Wear black and navy blue together.  Use different textures to let the blue stand out or keep it simple – like wearing neutrals together.
